"As ready as I'll ever be" I said.
"Well lets go" Colby said. We dragged our suitcases inside and looked around. You'd think we would know how this airport looks by now. But we don't.
After a long time we finally made it to the plane. It was really crowded for it being right after Christmas. You'd think everyone would still be home spending time with their families, but nope.
"I can't wait to just get home and lay on my own bed" I sighed laying my head on Colby's shoulder.
He chuckled and sighed "me too."
I looked around and an old lady was staring at us while smiling. I smiled back trying to be polite.
"You two are so cute" she said her smile just getting brighter.
"Thanks" Colby said nicely smiling.
"It reminds me of my husband and I when we were young. Just so in love" she said chuckling to herself. "Oh how I miss him" she smiled looking down.
"I bet he was a good man" I said sitting up. The old lady didn't reply. Instead she just nodded and went back to being quiet.
"Flight to California is now boarding" I heard a women's voice say from the desk.
"Let's get on this plane" I said standing up Colby following. We walked into the long line and started to wait
