Ch 19 - Friends to the Rescue

The next time you woke up, it was dark out. You just kept drowning in the pain. Revenge wasn't even a thought anymore. You literally broke down and succumbed to the depression and darkness that had enveloped your mind. As the sun was rising, the only thought on your mind was ending your life. You walked to the edge of the cliff and looked back towards the castle in the distance and thought "I'm sorry my friends. Especially to you Kokoa, my love." You walked off the edge of the cliff embracing death.

---Meanwhile---

Everyone woke up and went to eat breakfast. Not knowing what you did.

"I'm going down to watch him and see how he is holding up." Kokoa said out loud to everyone.

Everyone just nodded not knowing what to say. They had never seen you in this condition and didn't know how to help you. Kokoa got up after she was done and headed out towards the cliff. She was going to hide in the tree line like she had been doing everyday since the news. She was trying to give you space and was hoping that you would get better soon. While see was walking, she summon Koa her bat to her side. Koa sat on her shoulder and was silent. It seemed like he was scared of her to most people but he loved her. Kokoa had found Koa lying on the ground hurt and had nursed him back to health. He felt sorry for what his friend was going through.

When Kokoa finally made it to the edge of the trees, she felt that there was something wrong. She looked around and didn't see you anywhere. She yelled your name and got no response. She ran to the edge of the cliff hoping the fear she had wasn't right. When she reached the edge, she looked down and saw you laying on an overhang that was about eight stories down. She started screaming your name and got no response.

"Koa go grab everyone now including Akua and father."Kokoa yelled while crying and panicking.

Koa flew as fast as he could reaching the castle in mere minutes. When he got there, he flew straight to Inner Moka and told her what had happened.

"Come on everyone let's go! Tell my father and Sister to get down there right now Koa!" Inner Moka yelled.

Everyone got there pretty quick due to a butler driving them in a car. Kurumu looked down and saw you laying below. She flew down and lifted you up. Once she had a good hold of you, she flew up with you in her arms. Just as she got to the top, Issa and Akua arrived.

"Kokoa give him some of your blood. It's the only chance there is to saving his life." Issa said.

He pulled a knife out and handed it to her. She grabbed the knife and cut her wrist. She put it to your mouth and made the blood go down your throat. Everyone could hear your bones repairing themselves. They picked you up and put you in the backseat of the car. They climb in and the butler drove back to the castle really fast. When everyone reached the castle, they picked you up and carried you to Kokoa's room and laid you on the bed. After about an hour, you wake up and stare around and see that you are in Kokoa's room and everyone is staring at you. All of a sudden Kokoa slaps you really hard across the face.

"Don't ever scare me like that again." She said and then hugged you.

You wrap your arms around her.

"I won't my love. I'm sorry to you all. I don't know what I was thinking. Please forgive me for being neglectful on how you guys felt about me." You said.

Everyone all of a sudden jump on you and Kokoa and gave you a group hug. All you could think about now is how grateful you were to have friends and family that cared about you.
