The rest of the day went by pretty fast. Class was boring; nothing interesting happened whatsoever. I recall getting a project in English, but I, uh, can't remember what for... I've been too busy thinking about, gulp, tomorrow.
I sighed as I dodged some big guys tackling with each other and a football, and continued on my walk. I was heading for the front entrance to our school, where I was outside going to meet Kelsie. She was gonna come over and stay the night.
I made it outside the school safely, and made my way over to Kelsie, who stood with Nate. I instantly smiled.
"Hey you two!" I told them, grinning a little at them both. "Ello love! Mind if dweeb here comes? My dads being a freak and is making me BABYSIT him!" she explained, asked and sighed all at the same time. Nate smiled at me innocently. I laughed and said, "Course not!" Kelsie rolled her eyes. "You're just too nice!" She complained to me. I just grinned at her as we started our not-so-long walk, as Nate smiled appreciately.
We got to my house about seven minutes later, and all the while Kelsie and Nate were arguing, but I didn't mind... It kept away the silence, at least.
Mum wasn't home yet, and so I started dinner. I made enough for Kelsie obviously, but also Nate. "Is Nate staying the night, too?" I asked Kelsie while stirring the spaghetti noodles. Nate was in the bathroom using the toilet. I checked that Nate ate spaghetti before I made it, and thankfully he likes it, cos I can't be bothered making a full on meal meal, like steak or chiken.
"Um... Ugh! I surpose... If he absoloutly HAS to!" She groaned. "It's not normal to fully hate your cousin, you know!" I laughed, and she rolled herceyes as she replied to me. "I don't HATE him! He just annoys me sometimes... Sometimes ALOT!" I laughed at her and then shook my head at Nate, who had just walked in with a confuesed expression as to what we were smirking at.
We had both asked Nate fifteen minutes after laughing at some girls at school, who had only just met him, that were throwing themselves at him, whether or not he wanted to stay. "Sure." He grinned at us both, and as I laughed Kelsie rolled her eyes again. Honestly, they were gonna get stuck somewhere in the process of that one day!
An hour and a half passed by as we lazed around, waiting for the good to be ready, and then my mum finally came home.
"Hey girlies! And... Boyie?" She asked uncertainly after giving Kelsie and I a hug. She shrugged her shoulders and gave Nate a welcome-like hug, who returned it in the same way she'd just said, 'Boyie?'... Uncertainly. Kelsie introduced them officially after explaining to mum it was the same guy as yesterday, as I dished up dinner into four proportions.
During dinner, I had asked mum if Nate could stay, and him being Kelsies cousin made her trust him more, I could tell. And also by the way she wiggled her eyebrows at me, I could also tell she thought he was cute. I laughed silently to myself everytime she done this; which was like, six times? Maybe more. But even though I admitted he was majorly hot, I already thought of him as a close bestfriend; a brother maybe even, in time at least. And another reason why she let him stay is cos she's just a cool mum!
After dinner I led Kelsie and Nate upstairs. We all just sat in a tiny circle, obviously tiny if it's made out of three people, on my double bed and talked. And then a sudden memory came into my mind...
"Hey Nate... It's your first day andbi already see you head over heels for someone." I smirked at him, and he blushed a little. "OooooOOooOoh!" Kelsie cooed at him, wiggling her eyebrows, and she reminded me of why mum was doing at the table, and I mentally laughed. "Who is she, cuz?" Kelsie asked, still in her teasing voice, but at the same time, she was serious. "I'm not telling you two!" He laughed it off, though he was still red from embarrassment. I should feel bad, especially about the clue I had that I was now gonna share with Kelsie... But, meh! "I saw him love struck when he was looking behind you..." I told Kasey, nudging her as we smirked together. "Oh, shut up!" Nate told me, growing more red.
We continued to annoy him over it for the rest of the night, but he just wouldn't budge and tell us who, for sone reason. Maybe he thought we would tease him, judge him? Or maybe he thought we'd go up to her... And, well... All of the above me have had done; I guess it would have just depended on the girl. I guess the same thing will apply when, and trust me when I say we WILL, find out. Never underestimate Kelsie and I!
We all went to bed at around 10, and it was only now, while I'm lying in bed, that I realize that Kelsie and I had succeeded at what we planned, which was for her to come over and help me forget about what was happening tomorrow... WHO, was happening tomorrow.
Great! Now it's in my head again, and I'm sure I won't be able to sleep!
