(6) Wanting You

It's been a couple of days since graceland and I had that disagreement. That was Monday today is Friday. She hasn't been to school those days either. I was worried at first but then I overheard Ryder talking to her Wednesday so I stopped worrying. Getting up I went to take a shower a shower. Once out of the shower got ready for work. I had on a pink and black pencil skirt that stopped above my knees, I put on a pink polo short, and black flats. I straighten my hair and let it just hang down.

Walking down stairs I started to make me and Ryder some breakfast. French toast and bacon because that's all I had time to make. " Ry, breakfast is ready and hurry up so that we don't be late." "Coming" she said walking out of the hall bathroom. I looked her over as if trying to see if I approved her outfit. She had on a pink floral dress, a cardigan, white stockings, and black flats. Her hair was now a curly mess because I washed it last night but it still stopped a little pass her shoulders. She came to the table as I set her plate down. We ate and then left for school. I dropped her off first then sped to my job I only had ten minutes til it started.

I made it to the school in record time. I parked in my special reserved parking spot then got out grabbing my bag from the back seat. I walked the halls that were filled with a bunch of crazy teenagers. I finally reached my classroom then walked in to go to the board to write down the agenda. I finished just as the bell rung as kids started to pour in. I scanned the room looking for someone though no one in particular. I frowned when I saw her empty chair guess she's not coming I sighed but then changed my expression as I began class.

"Good Morning class. Today we're going to be doing a lab" I said and everyone erupted in cheers. " Well.... Were going to do a pre lab, which means just going over the materials and how to do the lab and then we will perform the actual lab Monday" they groaned in frustration. I smiled they're eager to learn.

I was about to start explaining when my door flung open and in walked Graceland with her head down texting on her phone. I stopped in awe she looked gorgeous. She had on black tights, a long white sweater, black Timberlands on her feet. Her perfect hair was curly in the back but her bangs were straight and swooped over her left eye. My eyes went to her lips. Those perfect lips were covered with pink lip stain and gloss. She looked up from her phone but the way she did it she was looking up at me through her eyelashes. How cute. " You're late" I said trying to act stern. "I was stuck in traffic" " Well please have a seat so I can start class" she mumbled something I think on the lines of yeah whatever " Excuse me did you say something?" I asked " I said my pleasure" she told her eyes but sat down

Class went by pretty smoothly. The last 5 mins I sat down and let them just talk because well it is Friday. The bell rung and everyone started to pile out.

" Graceland can you stay after for a bit ?"

she nodded her head yes. Waiting until all the students were out I walked to the door and locked it.

"We need to talk?"

I took the seat next to her

"So talk"

"Well how are you? You weren't here all week. I was worried"

she scoffed

"Yeah right okay."

"I'm serious I was and I missed you"

"Well you have a funny ass way of showing it."

It fell silent I didn't know what to say and she obviously wasn't gone say anything.

" You know Ryder misses you and wants to see you and Evan"

"I told her she can come over whenever she likes or they could go to the park together. Of course I'd be there"
