"Babe are you ready ?" I called out to my wife. Yes you heard correctly my wife. Me and Graceland got married 8 years ago. Once she graduated High school we packed up and moved to Sunny California where we could be us and no one would know that I was her teacher and she was my student. To them we were a normal couple. A year after she graduated and we was settled with our new life I proposed she said yes of course. I still remember the day like it was yesterday.

I had just taken Ryder to her Friend Macie's house and I dropped Evan off at the movies. I told them to make their self scarce and they knew why. Today was the big day I was gonna purpose to Graceland. She was at work and will be getting off at 6 o' clock. That means I only have 5 Hours to set everything up.

I grabbed my keys and shot out the door. I went to Several different stores to find exactly what I needed to step up around the house. I got a bunch of pink rose petals, Little chocolate heart shaped candies, Two bottles of Wine, Candles, And the food to make dinner. I was gonna prepare her favorite dish: Steak and Lobster. I also had to make a run to the jewelry store. I had her ring custom made. It was a A 34 k gold diamond in crusted ring and it ran me a lot but anything for her. I had her name engraved in it and todays date. Hopefully she says yes and I won't have to get the date changed. fingers crossed. After I had everything I needed I went back to the house. That killed about 1 and half now I only have 3 hours and 30 mins left. I began to start on the food. I know thats going to take a while.

I seasoned the steaks And put the lobster in the water to cook. Once the food got going I went to start the set up. I made a trail of roses leading to the bed and placed the candles about the house. Putting the bottles if wine on ice I moved to the candy. I spelled out ' I love you, Marry me ?' On the bed. This might be a cliche way to purpose but I promise I have more. I was nearing a hour and half left. Everything was coming along great at that was last was for me to get dressed.

I ran up stairs took a quick shower - more like 30 mins - Once out I put on my clothes. I decided since its her day I dressed down. A simple black and white tux will do for me. After getting dressed. I went to check on the food.

Sitting in the couch I heard a car door shut. I dimmed the lights and stood in place... Hear goes nothing. I stood up dimmed the lights down grabbed a single rose and stood a feel meters from the door. Nerves as hell I felt my palms began to get clammy and I started thinking what if she rejects me or think this is so childish and simple. What if she doesnt believe in marriage. This instantly became the worse idea yet. No time for backing I out I heard the lock on the door unlock and in walked my angel.

Her short black hair was down but frazzled from the cool October breeze. She had her business suite on , Black and white button up shirt and a black pencil skirt with white and black stilettos. She turned up the lights as she walked in. She first examined the room her brows creased in confusion then she spotted me and it instantly changed. I saw a glint of something in her eyes but it went away as quick as it came. Not sure what to do I stood there awkwardly.

Gaining some confidence I thought its now or never as I walked up to her. Handing her the rose I gazed lovingly into her eyes.

"Grace from the moment I met you and actually got to know you I knew there was something about you that just intrigued me. Then when we hit those bumps in the road I thought for sure maybe I was in over my head but every time I gazed into those beautiful hazel eyes if yours I get lost and seem to loose all sense of what's right.
