Aaliyah's P.O.V

I was getting some stuff out of my car when I felt someone watching me. I turned around and it was Graceland. She was leaving school. We just stood there and stared at each other until she finally looked away hopped in her car and zoomed off. I sighed. Walking back in the school I had two more classes My Physics and another chemistry.

I walked in my class I had 5 minutes before my next class. I pulled out my phone figuring I could text Graceland. I must have typed that message a thousand times and delete it a thousand times. I finally I got the message to say what I wanted it to and the bell rung. Damn getting up I greeted the kids as they walked in. As they seated I began.

" Good afternoon class. I'm Miss. Summers. Okay well I'm going to take roll and then hand you the stuff for your short project" I took the roll and began to explain their project. " Okay you'll get in groups of three and you will have to work together to make rock candy, you will need to make enough for the whole class to taste" This will be due in a couple of weeks but you will be able to use the lab to help you. With that said get started."

School was over and I was on my way to pick up Ryder from her school. She has to stay after because I get out later than her school. I pulled up and she ran to the car " Hey baby how was practice?" I asked pulling off from the school " it was great we learned some new moves. You wanna see ?" she squirmed in her seat " Yeah but when we get home. be still babe I'm driving"

We got home and I looked at the time. I pulled out my phone and texted Graceland.

Me: Can you come over ? We need to talk.

Graceland: Yeah sure but I have to bring my little brother.

Me: That's cool Ryder's here

Graceland: Kay be there in 30

" Hey Ry?" I called out to her. She ran down to were I was at "'Yes mama?" " Babe go clean your room Graceland's coming over and she's bringing her little brother" " How old is he ?" She asked wiggling her eyebrows. I chuckled " uh little girl don't play.. besides he's 10" " That's only 4 years, age aint nothing but a number" I busted out laughing " Get your fast ass up them steps and clean that room." She took off running.

I decided I'll make dinner. I made spaghetti w/ meatballs, a salad, and garlic bread. After Dinner was ready I ran to take a quick shower. I was getting out drying off when I heard the door. " RY GET THE DOOR I'M STILL GETTING DRESSED. BUT MAKE SURE IT'S GRACELAND BEFORE YOU OPEN IT !" I screamed. I heard her say okay as I was trying to figure out what to put on.

Graceland's P.O.V

We left the beach and started towards Aaliyah's apartment/house. We got to her house 30 minutes later. When we got out I knocked and rang the doorbell. It was a while but then Ryder opened the door.. "Graceeyyy !!" Ryder said jumping on me. " Haha hey lil mama wassup. Where's your mama ?" I said carrying her in and ushering for Evan to follow. " She's still getting ready." I nodded. " Oh Ry this is my younger brother Evan, Evan this is Ryder, Aaliyah's daughter." He looked at me confused. " Oh that's right you haven't met Liyah yet. Well she'll be out." he just nodded his head and said wassup to Ryder. We were sitting on the couch when Aaliyah finally came out. " Hey" she said and I turned around and my mouth instantly feel open she looked gorgeous. She had on some high waisted blue Jean shorts with rips at the bottom, a Baby blue crop top, and some baby blue flip flops. Her hair was in a messy bun and she had some bangs swooping over her left eye. " Wow someone should have told me we was dressing up" I said looking her over. She giggled " Oh this old outfit" she said waving her hands dismissively " I just threw something on" mhmI thought.
