Hunger Games - I Volunteer!

i was with Haymitch in the elevator going to the plane for the games he was explaining what to do and not to do.

"they'll put all kinds of stuff right in the mouth of the cornucopia. they'll even be a bow there don't go for it" i looked at him

"why not?" i asked

"it's a blood bath they're trying to pull you in that's not your game you turn run and find higher ground and water. water is your new best friend. oh and down step of that pedestal early or they'll blow you sky high" he told me

"i won't" we stopped and the doors opened then we walked out before he stopped me.

"Lilly. you can do this" i nodded

"thanks. you're not so bad as i first thought" i sighed and left him making my way onto the plane and sat down i saw Peeta who nodded at and i returned it.

"your arm" one of them asked i lifted it up

"what is it"

"your tracker" she injected me and a few others before we took off. when we landed i was escorted to a private room where Cinna was waiting. i hugged him straight away feeling a little better.

"here" he let go and grabbed two jackets together and helped me put it on. the picked something revelling my mocking jay pin i was about to say something when he shushed me.

"thank you" i whispered  he nodded and zipped me up

"30 seconds" the voice said Cinna held my shoulders

"now i can't bet but if i could i would bet on you" he kissed my cheek and we pressed heads

"20 seconds" i stood back at the tube and began to walk towards it

"10 seconds" the doors closed and it moved up i looked around and was blinded by light until i adjusted. i looked around as the countdown began i saw the bow and arrow as well as other weapons. as much as i wanted i didn't want to die. so i was looking for something that i could grab on my way to the woods i spotted a couple of bags.

bingo. i then looked for Peeta who looked scared and shook his head i knew what he was trying to say 'don't go for the bow' i nodded back and held three fingers up which he returned.

10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 e jumped off and i ran for the bag looking back i saw Peeta head into the woods. i got closer and snatched the back but tripped on my way out hearing comontin behinf i dared to look back and saw one of them come at me i blocked them and kicked them before they dropped i looked and sat a knife in his looking up i saw clove who threw another knife i held my bag up and gelt a thud before bring it back don it lodged it self in my bag i got up and blew a kiss before running off taking the kife and putting on my bag.

as i rand in i didn't notice as small red head and i crashed into her sending us both to the floor i sat up as did she and we looked at each other expecting the other to do something. she hurried off and i did the same running through the woods i saw a tribute and ran the other way before slipping and falling down a hill when i stopped i jumped back onto my feet and ran again i came to a stop panting i looked around seeing i was alone i sat down and looked through my bag there was some rope, empty flask, cover, wire, string and the knife. i heard a loud bang and began to count.

12 had fallen i how to god one of them wasn't Peeta i sighed looking at the contents of my bag i needed weapon, food and water. kay water first and I'll see if i can find anything useful  i found some branches and twigs that i could use then heard ripping.

water i continued and found a lake dropping my things i drank some water and filled my flask up i set to work on my weapons making a bow and arrow then a spear before setting up spears. i set about getting food and caught a squirrel then stripped and cooked it after finishing i stepped on the fire so i couldn't be found. then found a tree to rest on for the night strapping myself down i finally relaxed and falling into a light sleep.
