After a flight for what felt like forever i've now reached Alec's cave to tell him that i have decided. Alec is our 'tinso' which means match_finder. He's more like a witch although he does not like that term.
So here is the thing about us,meliks, we live in a world far far away from planet earth, Athia. Alec has once shown me a vision of what Athia looks like and to my surprise we are quite different both on the physical appearance but mostly biologically too.
You see, we can fly we do have legs but walking isn't that convenient.
And once a malik turns to a certain age a mark starts to appear just below the spine and once the mark has appeared fully that's when Alec comes in to the picture to try and find us a match, a malik with the same exact mark cause the one other malik with the same exact mark is the only match, a soul mate,a fated partner in life, the one you're destined to love. It is believed that you will definitely end up together if you already weren't.
But that should be nothing new cause apparently the mark seems to appear on the earthlings,the Athians,too. what did got me surprised was the fact that we can see the marks but the Athians can not.
