Ace Black was once in a small, but loving family with her mother and father for a happy six years. She even had a bigger family that called themselves a pack, and there would sometimes be wolves around. Ace never quite understood why they were around but she knew never to be scared of them, yet she also understood that the wolves with red eyes were bad.
On a happy day at the park the red eyed wolves came for them, her father made her run away into the forest surrounding her home. She ran and ran for hours, as fast as her little legs would carry her. For days she sat under a large oak tree, waiting in absolute silence for her father until a voice spoke to her. Ace would listen to the voice, eating berries, plants, even unfortunate rabbits that crossed her path.
Ace lived this way for twelve years, until a strange boy finds her sleeping under a tree and expands her world.
