James P.O.V.
I felt like an asshole. It was the simplest way to put all my feelings into a simple sentence. I felt nothing anymore, when Bone was there I felt strong. I had long forgotten how it felt to have him with me, but as soon as he gave my back control I messed everything up. I went back to Jasmine I know I shouldn't have but I did.
When Jasmine was talking down to Ace I said nothing, I didn't know what to do. I snapped out of my daze when Aces' wolf made an appearance, her power made Bone howl with joy his destined mate was so kind yet so powerful. In all honesty she was the perfect Luna. Jasmine bolted out of the room, and I followed after her still in a daze.
"James I can't believe you let that rouge talk to me like that" Jasmines voice pierced through my daze, making me flinch "You go in there and make her apologize to me!" Her whiny voice commanded and I growled lowly at her.
"You will not boss me around Jasmine, leave my sight" I snap at the blabbering girl who stares at me in shock before running out of the pack house. I sigh and run my hand through my hair. Bone returns to me and disgust fills my body. I walk into my room and stare at the messy bed as images from my treachery to Ace fills my mind. I flinch as anger radiates from my wolf and I walk to the showers.
After showering in hot water I step into my room with a towel around my waist to see Ace standing awkwardly by the recliner near my bed. I take her in for a moment noticing her fiery red hair, those striking blue eyes, and her perfect lips; I had to admit that she was truly beautiful and I was an idiot. I stop staring at her and scratch the back of my neck with a light blush on my cheeks.
"Hey Ace, why are you in here?" I ask softly, only now noticing the white devil on her shoulder glaring hatefully at me.
"Why am I not good enough for you to like me like Jasmine?" Ace asks bluntly making me blink in confusion. She thinks I don't like her at all? Bone whines loudly in my head and fights me for control.
"I can leave this place if you want, I don't want to be a burden." Ace speaks again, only now her voice was soft and frail to my ears and Bone snaps at me to make her better.
"Ace I want you to stay here, and I like you. Bone loves you" I say slowly, not making any sort of eye contact with her. The bird opens her large wings and lowly hisses at me as a tear makes it way down Aces' cheek. Pain now floods my chest as Bone aches to comfort his mate. I reach out to her but she steps back and wipes away the tear.
"You let that girl be so mean, Violet had to make her go away so she wouldn't hurt me" She says through her tears, her eyes held so much pain I had to blink to be sure I wasn't hallucinating. At that moment Bone took full control and forced me to the back of our mind. I faded off to sleep, only remembering the feeling of Bone shifting into his form.

Bones P.O.V.
Ace stares at me before smiling weakly and gently scratching my forehead. I wag my tail and look up at the feathered beast, I bow my head down to her and she lets out a small scream of greeting. I lick Aces cheek and whine softly, I felt badly for how the human was to her. He was stupid.
"Hey Bone, did you want me to leave too?" Her voice breaks and I growl lowly at her words and put a giant paw on her leg. I howl loudly and jump around her, playfully pulling at her shirt. She giggles happily and my chest suddenly feels light . I play with her for hours, she was happy again and it made me feel complete when she smiled at me. As we begin to make a fort, she was honestly the only one building I brought her pillows and blankets, when the door is opened by the female the human mated.
Jasmine growled at Ace making her whimper, anger grew in my chest and a feral growl escapes from me. Jasmines wolf was submitting to me, but the human was disobeying me. I growl again, now standing in front of Ace, realization seem to hit Jasmine like a bus and she narrowed her eyes at me.
"Listen Bone, she isn't your true mate. I am. I'm bonded to James now and you can't change that. I will be this packs next Luna, not the rouge" The words leave her mouth as snug and confident but as soon as I pounced at her she let out a terrified scream. I pinned her under my giant paws and growl in her face, she whimpers and finally submits.
I felt the sparks warm my body when Ace gently puts her hands on my side, I look at her in confusion. Ace smiles warmly at me and kisses my nose.
"Bone please let her go, it's alright" Her voice soothed all anger I had in my heart. I move my paws off of the disobedient female who scrambles away from me and out of the house. I nuzzle my snout into mates chest and inhale her sweet scent. She holds me completely content with my closeness.
"Bone, it's nice to meet you" A new voice reaches my ear and I look up at Ace to see her eyes are a golden color now. I realized it was her wolf coming out to meet me, I purred happily and she smiled warmly.
"My name is Violet, we haven't shifted. Please help your human Bone, he hurts my Ace and I will have to leave with her if it goes too far." Her powerful voice strengthens me and I nod and focus for a moment, feeling the walls in Aces' mind drop so I could speak to her.
'My mate I will do anything to keep you here' My voice flows through her mind and she smiles at me, we press our foreheads together and happiness flows through us. Her golden eyes stare into my own and I purr softly.
"Let us go, we will speak again soon" She says softly before leaving me alone in the room. I stare at the closed door and determination fills me. I will get the human to understand how stupid he truly was.
