(Y/n)'s POV

"What are you doing? Get up. Even though you have lost your 'godly powers', that does not mean you can take a day off," exclaimed Sook Myung.
"Give it up, I'm not listening to you. Just admit it, you're jealous of me. It's honestly not that hard to tell."
"Me? Jealous of you? Pfft, what kind of nonsense is that?"
"Whatever, I can't be bothered to explain if you're just going to deny it."

I got up but she grabbed onto my arm, refusing to let everyone have the day off. Ugh, could she seriously not understand that I needed some rest?

"Hey, let her go. She must be feeling tired so just let her go," said Ji Dwi.
"...why?..."
"Why? Didn't I just tell you?-"
"No, I mean why?... Why do you choose her over me?! I'm your own sister!"
"Sister? You didn't even recognise me as your brother."
"I haven't seen you for many years so it's only natural that I couldn't recognise you-"
"And yet you could recognise our mother?"
"T-that's because I knew that she was the queen-"
"Oh? So if you didn't know that she was the queen, you wouldn't have recognised her as your own mother?"
"T-that's not what I mean-"
"*sigh* Just leave (Y/n) alone, I want to spend some time with her."

Ji Dwi took my hand and led me outside to town. I was still thinking about before. Was it really okay for him to do that? I mean, she was his sister after all.
What did it feel like to have a sibling? I wonder how Romeo was doing...

"Yah, are you going to stand there with your mouth open all day? Come on, hurry up."
"Huh? What?"

He just grinned before leading me towards the palace. What were we doing here?

Ji Dwi's POV

Her hands were trembling, most likely because of the queen. I gave them a squeeze, telling her that everything was going to be okay. I wouldn't have taken her here if it wasn't.

"You're here," said mother.
"Yeah, why did you need us?"
"Follow me."

We followed her, going along endless paths. I could tell that (Y/n) was getting a little worried. She looked at me, I just smiled.

"Here, I prepared everything already."

Mother left without another word. (Y/n)'s eyes immediately widened with excitement.

"Is it really okay for me to go?"

I nodded, smiling at how happy she was. We were inside one of the palace's gardens that only the royal family knew about. I didn't know why but it always seemed to snow here around this time of year. It almost seemed like a winter wonderland, something out of a fairy tale.

"Ji Dwi, did you purposely bring me here? To show me this?"
"Yeah, why else would I bring you here?"
"Thank you so much!"
"Since you're so grateful that I've shown you this, give me something in return."
"Give you something in return? What could I possibly give you?"
"This."

I pulled her closer to me and kissed her. Once I pulled away, she was as red as a tomato.

"It's funny how I can make you do that."
"D-do what?"
"Make you blush. It looks like you dipped your face in red paint."
"Y-yah!"

I just laughed and kissed her again. She pouted and turned around. Hmm, was she annoyed?

"Are you mad that I teased you?"

She didn't reply so I took this chance to tickle her. She just burst out laughing and begged for me to stop.

"You're not going to ignore me again, are you?"
"N-no, so p-please stop!"

Sook Myung's POV

I was mad. How could Jinheung treat me like that? I mean, she was just a commoner and I was a princess, his own sister. We might've been apart for a long time but he couldn't deny the fact that we were related. What was so good about (Y/n) anyway? She was nothing special.

I watched with jealousy as Jinheung cupped her face with his hands with a gentle look in his eyes. It seemed like they didn't have a care in the world. It was almost as if they were fine as long as they had each other.

"I love you," I heard him say to her.

My heart ached. Why?...Did I want to be loved? Was that the reason I was jealous of her? Everyone had someone to love, except me. Why wouldn't he notice this pain that I was feeling? Why only pay attention to her?

"Sook Myung, what are you doing here?" mother asked.
"J-just walking by."
"I've noticed you've been standing here for a while now. What's troubling you?"
"...nothing."

Before I could leave, she started talking again.

"Since Ji Dwi is taking over the throne, I suggest you behave yourself and treat (Y/n) with respect. You have no idea how far he is willing to go for that girl."
"Thanks for the warning but I'll decide what I'll do."

No one's POV

Sook Myung walked away, leaving the queen by herself.

Ji Dwi and (Y/n) were sitting under the shade of the cherry blossom tree. They had built several snowmen of different shapes and sizes. Honestly, they were just glad to be by each other's side.

"Hey Ji Dwi, don't you think that one looks like you?" (Y/n) asked while pointing to a small, chubby snowman.
"...you must be joking right now."
"*shakes head* I'm being serious."
"...geez..."

They both laughed and continued to joke with each other, despite how cold the weather was.

They weren't aware of it, but a certain angel had been the cause of the snow. As the snow fell, so did his love for her. Romeo had wished that (Y/n) would live happily and had kept the snow falling for a very long time, hoping that one day, she would see it after breaking her curse.
