(Y/n)'s POV
The light coming out of the strange mark soon subdued and faded. Ji Dwi's hand was red, it looked as if it had almost gotten burnt.
"D-did I do that?"
"No, it's not your fault," he replied.
I looked at him worriedly. He just smiled before looking away. I carefully grabbed his arm, examining his hand. He needed to get this treated before it got any worse.
"(Y/n), I told you. It's not your fault."
"No, it is my fault. I should've never gotten close to you in the first place. This all happened because of me. I don't even know what my purpose is and all I've done is cause you trouble without even realising it-!"
"(Y/n)!"
He pushed me down until I was lying on my back. My heart felt like it was going to pound out of my chest. *blush*
Before I could do anything, he put his lips on mine and kissed me. I was still trying to process what he did when he pulled away.
"(Y/n)-"
Sun Woo came back into the room, stopping when he noticed the mood.
"I-I'll see you outside," he exclaimed awkwardly before quickly taking his leave.
"Y-yah, this is your fault. Now he thinks we're in some sort of relationship."
"Is that a bad thing?" asked Ji Dwi.
"I..."
"And you're still choosing to call me 'Ji Dwi' even after you know my real identity?"
"I uh-"
"*smirks* Don't take it seriously."
"H-hey!"
He pulled me up and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek before going outside, leaving me with a red face. My heart was still pounding fast from what had happened before. D-did I...like him?
Ji Dwi's POV
I went outside, seeing Sun Woo leaning against the wall. He pulled me by the arm till we got to a secluded area.
"So what's happening between you and (Y/n)?" he asked with a smirk.
"Nothing-"
"Come on, be a man and accept the fact that you like her."
"Tch, I should be saying that to you. Don't think that I haven't noticed. Even though you're her brother, you like Ah Ro, don't you?"
"Yah, that's..."
"True."
He just sighed and gave in. Hmm, that was easier than I expected. I thought he would've argued a lot more, considering what he was like most of the time.
Suddenly, my hand started throbbing. Tch, I should've gotten it treated first.
"Hey Ji Dwi, I've been wondering for a while now...who are you really?" he suddenly asked.
"I should be asking you the same thing. Who are you? Are you really Ah Ro's brother?"
"Hmm, I don't think it's time to reveal our secrets yet."
"Oh, so you do have secrets."
"So do you, you're not denying it."
We sat down while the conversation seemed to end there. Neither of us said anything. All we did was enjoy each other's company while looking at the night sky.
No one's POV
Sun Woo and Ji Dwi were too concentrated on thinking, trying to reveal each other's secrets that they didn't notice someone sneaking up behind them.
They had heard a sudden sound behind them but it was already too late. Both Sun Woo and Ji Dwi had fallen into the water.
"Yes! *fake evil laugh*" exclaimed Hansung.
"Yah, Suk Hansung!" yelled Sun Woo.
"Well, that was quite amusing," Yeo Wool said.
"*laughs* The look on your faces! Ha, I'll never forget that. After all that serious talk, I bet you didn't expect that," Soo Ho added.
Ban Ryu was the only one to sigh, but secretly, he had actually found it funny that the two had fallen into the water after a serious conversation.
"Do you guys honestly have nothing else to do?" Ji Dwi asked with a sigh as he got out of the water.
"Well, we skipped training with the princess. I miss noona, it's not fun without her," exclaimed Hansung.
"Is that why you're all here? Be careful or else Ji Dwi might rip out your throats for taking her away," Sun Woo joked.
"Yah!"
The others all laughed, happy to be able to spend time together like this. But they all couldn't hide the worry they felt for (Y/n). They didn't know what was happening with her but knew that something bad was going to happen.
"Let's go back, we're gonna catch a cold if we stay here any longer," said Sun Woo.
The others all agreed. But once they got back, they had to face a very angry-looking princess.
"Where were you all?" she asked sternly.
"We were at the lake," replied Ban Ryu.
"Why were you there instead of here, training?"
"We-"
"I told them they could rest for the remainder of the night," (Y/n) cut in.
"And why might you say that?"
"You might not know but those men are very skilled so this training will be unnecessary for them."
"You are supposed to be training them-"
"Yeah, I know and that's why I gave them permission to skip training tonight."
The princess glared at her before turning around, heading towards her room. (Y/n) took a deep breath before leaning against the wall.
"Noona! Are you okay?!" Hansung asked worriedly while rushing up to her.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just feel a little dizzy."
"Yah, we could've taken care of it ourselves. You should go back and rest," Ji Dwi said.
Instead of a reply, (Y/n) just fainted. Luckily Hansung was there to catch her but he couldn't hide the worry on his face as he took her into her room.
It was around midnight by the time Ah Ro had come back. She had decided to stay with (Y/n), telling everyone to go back to their rooms.
(Y/n), please wake up soon, Ah Ro thought to herself.
