Kelly's POV
"Kellyyy!!! Catch meeee!" Brooklyn yelled while getting ready to jump in the water
"Brooklyn be careful" Chance said walking behind her
"It's ok babe I got her" I said
"Come on Brooklyn I got you" I said while holding my arms up
"In 3,2,1 Jump!" She exclaimed while jumping in my arms.
Brooklyn started to laugh in the water as she watched to waves from her jump go away. She can be so cute honestly
"Look at my two beautiful girls being weird together" Chance teased
"Hey" "Don't judge us you bully" I teased back
"I'm not" He defended
"Daddy mean" Brooklyn interfered
"What?!?" He laughed
"Ok then I'll just be mean over here by myself " Chance said as he faked pouted
"Hey Brooklyn you wanna do something fun" I whispered in her ear
"Yeah yeah yeah" She said excitedly
"Let's go push daddy in the water" I whispered to her
"Daddy!!!!" She screamed
"What!!!" He mocked
"I want out" She said with her hands up
Chance picked her up out the water and let her walk around on the outside while he still sat on the edge
"Bye daddy" Brooklyn said
"What?" He asked confused
As soon as he turned around Brooklyn was already running full speed towards him and pushed him in the water
"Ahhhh oh my gosh" I laughed
"Good job Brooklyn, you deserve a cookie" I said still laughing
Chance eventually came up
"Wait!! The both of you planned this" Chance exclaimed as he surfaced the water
"No. I planned. Brooklyn initiated...It's called teamwork" I said while getting out the pool and walking to Brooklyn
"Brooklyn whyd you be mean to me" he whined
"Daddy bully kelly" "No. Kelly be nice" She said while laughing
"You're lucky I love the both of you, but I think it would only be fair if I get payback" He said as he started to chase after us
Brooklyn and I screamed as we ran behind the chairs so he wouldn't get us
"No chance noo it was just a joke" I said panicking a little
"What I'm doing is a joke too" He laughed
He then picked both of us and threw us into the shallow end of the pool (before anyone freaks out Brooklyn has on floaties and Kelly was holding her as they were thrown in...she is completely safe)
When we surfaced Chance began laughing
"Now that was great payback" He laughed harder
"How about we get out of the water and just lay in the grass and chill" He suggested
"Well Brooklyn and I can get out while you stand there...yeah sure that sounds like a great idea" I teased
Brooklyn and I got out of the water and dried off. We layer our towels on the ground and layed there. No one spoke for a while
"I love you daddy" Brooklyn said out of nowhere
"Aw I love you too. But what about Kelly do you not love her" He asked
I looked at him confusingly. He has never questioned her about me in that type of way
"Yeah" Brooklyn said while hugging me
"I love the both of you too" I smiled
Even though today was weird it was fun...moments like these make me feel the happiest
