Chapter 29

Dani's pov-

After talking to Demi, I did as told and took the boys to take a bath then bed. The house was uncomfortable, and I guess it had to do with Demi not being her. I miss her so much.

"night mommy" Nicki said tucking his blankie on his side. I kissed his forehead and Alex's.

"Night boys" I slowly walked out of their room and went downstairs to watch a movie or something. My door bell rung and I ran to get it. "hello" Lily stood there with her Pjs and a leather jacket. "What happened"

"Nothing, I couldn't sleep" I opened the door wider letting her come in. I loved my best friend and all, but I haven't spoken to her since the whole thing with Demi and I getting back together. We sat on the couches in silence. We didn't speak to each other or made any eye contact.

"so, what's wrong" I asked not believing one word she was saying. Why, I don't know. Something wasn't feeling right.

"I just miss my best friend. What, I can't visit you" I shrugged positioning myself on the couch.

"You could have visited me in the morning. I mean it's cool, but the boys are asleep"

"I'm sorry, I'll just come back in the morning I guess" I grabbed her hand sitting her back down.

"Your already here. Just stay" she nodded sitting on my couch.

The rest of the time, we watched a show that was on MTV. I didn't really pay attention to it but Lily seem interested in it. She sat closer to me and cuddled into my side. I looked around weirdly and slowly moved without her knowing.

The next morning, I woke up on the couch. I didn't even realize I went to sleep. the smell of pancakes came from the kitchen and I knew it couldn't be the boys. I slowly walked over to see Lily and the boys.

"Auntie Lil, can I have more" Alex said taking his plate up to her. She bend down to his level kissing his cheek.

"Of course you can. Want another Nicki" He nodded and took her his plate. I smiled widely and walked over to them, picking up Nick.

"Wow, thanks. You didn't have to do that" I said giving her a small side hug. Nicki wiggled himself down and walked over to the table to eat.

"I know, but I wanted to. I made you some to, so sit and get ready to have the best breakfast of you life" I laughed at my friends weirdness and sat near Alex. She sat a plate a front of me and started eating.

"Mommy, your phone" Nicki yelled. He brought it to me and watched me answer it.

"Hello" I said knowing it was Demi or one of the girls.

"Dan, it's Camila" I smiled making a happy face to the boys.

"Oh hey Mila. What's up" They boys jumped up and down wanting to talk to Camila.

"I want to talk to Auntie Camila, no me" they both said. Camila giggled on the other end just hearing them argue.

"I just called because I need to know my babies sizes. Lauren and I went to a store here in Vancouver and I saw these nice shirts"

"Sure there about the same size. 5T in kids"

"Thanks, pass them over so I can say by" I sat both boys down and Put Camila on speaker.

"Camila!" they screamed.

"Hi Boys" she said. Lily motioned me to the living room so they can talk to her alone.

"Wow, I remember when it was all about aunt Lil" she pouted sitting on the couch near me. She placed a hand on my knee, but I didn't mind.

Throughout the whole week, Lily, the boys, and I spent a lot with each other. We took the boys to endless place that I wish Demi would be here. Speaking of Demi, I forgot to tell her about the appointment. Shit I forgot to talk to this whole week. I pulled out my phone, dialing Demi.

"Baby!! I miss you" Demi screamed through the phone. I smiled pulling the bags from the trunk of my car.

"Hi babe, I missed you to. How's the tour" I asked. "Nicki hold the door for mommy" He ran back and help the door letting Lily go in first.

"Great boring without you guys, but speaking of my munchkin, how's my baby" She asked referring to Nick. I placed the bags of groceries on the table and walked over to the living room.

"He's great. The Doctor said he does have Autism, but it's very mild. They didn't put him in any medication since it's very mild" I heard her sigh. I sighed as well laying on the couch.

"My poor baby. I wanna see you guys already. I want to be able to hold them"

"I know baby. We're flying out to Glendale AZ to see you! They boys can't wait" She giggle her cute giggle and I felt really sad. I miss Demi so much.

"Dani, I have to go. The concert just got started"

"Alright bye babe" we hung up and I laid on the couch looking at the ceiling. Lily came over and sat on my lap which was very unexpected. I sat up and looked at her funny.

"So, what are we going to do today" She slightly smiled and winked. Oh my lord, i hope Lily doesn't like me. She my sister practically and it would be so weird. When I didn't respond to her, She buried her faced into the crook of my neck.

"Lil? What are you doing" I asked curiously. She looked up at me and shrugged grabbing my hand.

"I don't know, I want to cuddle" I sighed laying back down. I laid her on top of me and let her entwine our fingers. I think I'm going crazy, but weirdly I like Lily present this past week. And surprisingly i was comfortable.

We stayed that why, til the boys were finished with my phone. After we just went in the screening room and watched monster inc. for the boys. Alex seemed to like Lily. He sat on her lap and watched the movie not paying attention to anything else. Nicki on the other hand hated being next to Lily. Its weird, he use to like Lily. He would grab my hand whenever it came into contact with her, or if we were talking, he would try to speak really loudly to me. I seriously don't know whats up with Nick.

A/N: Giving you guys a heads up, On Wednesday, I'm leaving on my choir trip, so i won't be able to update any stories. So ill try and upload twice before i leave. Love you all. :)
