Chapter 23

Dani's pov-

I woke up the next morning, with only a thin blanket around. I stretched my arms out and noticed Demi wasn't there.

I threw on some clothes and made my way to the restroom. After, I walked down stairs and notice her making breakfast for the boys. They were dressed all nice and ready to go.

"You guys look handsome today" I said and wrapped my arms around Demi waist. She turned around from the stove and kissed my lips.

"mama dressed us" Alex said. He had the bandage around his nose, making him talk funny.

"yeah, remember you guys are going to the rehearsals with me" She said turning back around.

"oh yeah, let me just get ready" I ran upstairs and into the shower. I took a quick hot shower, then came out wrapping a towel around my body. Demi laid out my clothes on the bed. I smiled widely, opening the door. "Thanks Babe" I yelled.

"Welcome" She yelled Back. I got ready and went back downstairs. "you look good" Demi said motioning me to sit.

"thanks, you did pick it out" She smiled just staring at me.

"babe, your phone ranged, but I didn't know where it is" I stood up from the table and went for my phone. I had two missed calls from my cousin Stephanie and my brother.

I decided to call my cousin  Stephanie. I haven't talk to her since my parents died, so it would be good to hear her voice.

Demi'spov-

Dani was practically glued to her phone, so I started asking the boys random questions. I would like to have a another child, hopefully a girl, but it wouldn't matter.

"How do you guys feel about a sister or another brother" I asked the boys who were digging through their breakfast.

"I want a sister" Alex Yelled cutely. Nicki remained quiet, and shook his head.

"why not" I asked him. He shrugged his shoulders.

Nicki wasn't acting the same, he was acting different, like something was bothering him.

"that's my mommy" Nicki said pointing to Dani. I laughed knowing what he meant. He didn't want to share Dani. Which I thought was so cute.

"you don't want to Share mommy" I asked him. He shook his head viciously, causing Alex and I to laugh.

I love how they have names for us. To them I'm mama, and for Dani, its mommy.

"When I'm I getting a baby Sister" Alex asked taking a bite of his French toast.

"When mama's done working, with the tour" I said. It was true. I wouldn't want to get pregnant, and be on tour throwing up all the time. Plus I have to ask Dani if she was ok with it.

Dani walked in the kitchen with a long face. She sat in the table with us and watched us all eat.

"You ok baby" I asked her. She shook her head. Her eyes turned to a dark blue, as water formed in them. "Boys, go to your room. I'll call you guys when its time to go"

They raced upstairs leaving Dani and I to talk. She stood quiet, but moved closer to me.

"I have to go to El Paso" She Said quietly.

"Texas?" I asked. She nodded slowly and finally looked in my eyes. "why? who was on the phone" I asked. I took her hand.

"My cousin Stephanie and my Brother Miguel" She breathed in deeply before going on. "my Aunt passed away. She was like my mom when My parents died. She was there for me" She began to let tears fall. "I haven't seen her in years" She sobbed louder.
