chapter 22

Demi'spov-

On the way to the hospital, Alex began to cry with pain. My poor baby couldn't even use his crying face.

"there baby, were almost there" Dani said. She turned the car into the hospitals back parking lot, and parked. "I'll get Alex" I nodded slipping out the car.

"come on Nicki" I unstrapped him, and made my way behind Dani. She signed him in and we waited.

"Alex, does it hurt" Dani asked. He nodded his little head, trying not to rub his face.

"We should have stayed home" I said. Dani looked at me and shook her head. "What?" I asked

"Demi, you go to places all the time for work, and we have to stay home. This was a good opportunity to take them out" her voice sounded disappointed. "Don't you want them to go out and not be home all the time" I stood quiet cause I knew she was right. "Hello? Answer me"

"Of course, I don't want them Being lazy, but this wouldn't of happen if we we're home"

"Whatever" She stood up carrying Alex. Now she's mad. I didn't want to make her mad, but she doesn't get that I work all the time and I don't get to see them when I get home. I just want to spend time with my family at home.

"Alexander Lovato" A nurse said we stood up and walked towards her. As we walked I notice The nurse was Destiny. "well, well. The Lovato's. So what happened"

"Auntie Des" Nicki said and jumped on her. She smiled kissing the top of his head. Dani ignored her laying Alex on the bed, the room had.

"We were at my neice's pool party, and I think he slipped and fell on his face" I said, Knowing Dani won't say anything. She nodded writing everything down. 

"Ok Alex, can you sit up for me babe" He nodded and sat up. She Checked his pulse and blood pressure. "Alex come with me, to check how tall you are and your weight" He jumped off the bed and took her hand. "we'll be right back" 

"Dani, whats your problem" I asked. Nicki Climbed on the bed and sat down.

"Nothing, I dont have a problem" She said with no expression to her face. I knew it had something to do with me and or Destiny.

"well can you not act like that" she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms, leaning against the bed.

"Im not acting in any kind of way" She said. Destiny walked with Jennel, something I wasn't expecting. A confused expression danced around her face. "great" she mumbled.

"Look mommy, Auntie Jen and Des gave me a sticker" Alex said walking in. 

"Don't worry Nicki we got you one too" Jennel said and handed it to him. Dani and I stood quiet as awkwardness filled the room. "Dani, Demi? I'm sorry" Jennel finally spoke up. I didn't know why she was sorry, the kiss wasnt real. 

"For what" I asked. 

"The kiss. It wasn't real, i just tripped. I just wanted to say sorry" Dani looked at the floor then to me.

"Its ok Jennel" I said. I clearly didnt know what else to say. Dani stood quiet and I was getting mad. 

"The doctor should be coming in a bit" We nodded and watched them leave. 

"Demi?" I heard Dani say. I looked at her To go on. "Sorry for the attitude. I was just mad that we stay home while your out for work. Going to places" She looked down at her feet.

"Dani, I have to. I have to be touring soon, that's why I want to spend time with my family at home. I don't get to see you guys. When I get home, you guys are asleep or out" Dani walked over to me taking my hand, she stood me and sat on the chair, making me sit on her lap. 

"Well, im sorry baby. We can stay home tomorrow if you want" I giggled kissing her cheek.

"I have rehearsal tomorrow with fifth harmony, but I want you guys to go. so, you guys won't be home all day" She smiled kissing my cheek. 

"Ok, then" The doctor came in and checked Alex. He asked that Destiny take him for X-rays. 20 minutes later the results came back. Nothing was broken. Thank goodness, it was just bruised. Jennel, Destiny and Dani All said sorry to eachother and we went home happy. 

As we entered the house, Dani took the boys their bath then bed. She walked slowly in the room, taking off her clothes and and threw on her pjs.

"No, baby. Leave your clothes off" She smiled and walked in the bed. She began to take my clothes off.

"I love you"

"I love you more" 

A/N: Ok guys, those of you guys that asked about demisStar, it was because she tried to commit suicide. I dont know why. she has the perfect life. Im just really sad at the moment. And her parents decided for her to go to our uncles for awhile. I hope to see her soon :'(
