Chapter 1

Demi's pov-

A couple days have passed, and the hospital let Dani go. She still didn't know anything about us or our kids. She still thinks shes with Jennel. Which breaks my heart to hear or see, since Jennel's been coming to the hospital.

Jennel came over the house as soon as we brought Dani home. She came without Destiny her girlfriend.

"How old are you Dani" I asked her. I wanted to see where her memory is.

"19" she happily said, but was a bit nervous. I giggled remembering how we first met. 19 is when I first met her. She's going on 21 in a couple months. She sat on the couch and smiled at Alex.

"Dani, do you know who I am" Jennel asked.

"Jennel Garcia" she said taking her hand. My heart started aching just seeing her hold another girls hand.

Jennel pulled away quickly and patted her back. "Why did you pull away" Dani asked. I looked over to Jennel to see what she would say.

"I..uh..I have to go" And with that Jennel ran out the house.

"that's weird, not like her to do that" she said shaking her head. I moved Alex from my lap to the floor to play with Nick. I walked over to her and sat next to her.

"yeah, maybe she's not feeling well" I said taking her hand. "Dani" I said.

She looked at me. "I..I lo...never mind" before I can say another word I rushed to the guest room we had in downstairs.

I heard footsteps behind, which I didn't look back.

"Demi, are you ok" Dani asked knocking on the door.

"I'm fine, just tired" I lied and laid in bed crying to the pillow.

"Are you sure, something is not felling right" she yelled through the door.

"I'm fine Dani" I heard her footsteps finally walk away.

2 hours later, I quietly walked out the room and into the living room were Dani had the boys. They were watching Despicable Me, one Dani's favorite movies.

"Hi Demi, you ok" She asked again.

"I'm fine, I just took a nap. Thanks for taking care of them"

"no problem, their adorable" She said caressing Nick's face. He smiled.

How I missed when Dani was with the boys. How will I explain to her, we are married, have two kids, and living together. I don't think she can take that all in one day.

She patted the empty space next to her for me to sit. I sat, hoping she'd wrap her arms like she use to but she didn't.

The movie was ending and I looked over to find the three people I love the most fast asleep on the couch. I ran my fingers through Dani's brown hair and kissed her head. She moved a little resting her head on my shoulder.

"I love you" I finally said. A tear ran down as I snuggled close to Alex. This is going to be hard for me.
