Chapter 27

A/N: I'm doing some changes in the story. Like, The boys age. Have them a bit older, so there going to be 4. And I'm skipping past the funeral, because, i just don't like thinking about it. Because my aunt who I loved dearly, like Dani's aunt, passed away, and I don't feel like crying. So yeah. Hope you like this chapter.

Dani's pov-

After we spent the whole morning, and somewhat of the afternoon with the family, Demi and I got to look for a nice house.

"What about this one" Demi asked. It was a nice big house with a double door garage, and big backyard. It was a house I liked, but looked to expensive.

"Baby, are you sure it looks like to much money" I asked running my hand threw my hair. She shook her head and laughed at me.

"Babe, forget about the money. I'm trying to make you happy" she said. She walked over to me and placed her hands on my hips. I wrapped my arms around her and leaned to kiss her. "When were you the type to worry about money" she asked. I shrugged.

"Alright, I guess" She jumped happily and kissed me. We both signed papers and went back to the hotel.

Max had taken care of the boys, so when we got there they were running around the room.

"Monster, Monster!" The boys yelled running away from Max. Max stopped when he saw us. He was out of breath and held himself up by leaning in the wall.

"Playing with the boys I see" Demi laughed. He nodded and wiped his forehead.

"I have been running around the room for an hour. I need a break" we laughed and nodded.

"Of course, you look like you need it" i said. The boys ran in the room wondering  where the 'monster' went. "Boys give uncle Max a break, and go get ready" we were finally leaving back home.

An hour or so, we were done and heading to the planes. We sat the same way, from when we came. Demi and Alex in front. Nicki and I in the back.

"What are you thinking about" Demi asked as I looked out the window. I was so deep in thought, I didn't know she was staring at me.

"Nothing really" I replied. I sighed and looked out the window. "I guess today was a lot for me, you know" I scratched my head and watched Demi nod.

"I'm here if you need me baby, I'll be right here" She stood up and kissed me. She sat back down Helping Alex with a game. I smiled and looked down.

"Mommy?" I heard Nicki called. I faced him and nodded my head to go on. "Are we almost there" he said cutely.

"Yup, just a couple more minutes" He nodded and continued watching the movie they were playing. I didn't pay to much to anything. All my surroundings seem to have faded and I was there alone. I felt so dead, that I didn't realise I was crying.

"Mommy" I heard Nicki's voice. I shook my head and looked at him.

"Y-yeah" I said speaking low, so Demi wouldn't hear me.

"Why you cry" He asked. He spoke a bit to loud and Demi looked back at me.

"Nicki babe, can you sit with your brother while I talk to mommy" Demi asked Nicki. He stood up and made his way to Demi seat. Demi made sure he was seated before sitting in his seat. "What's wrong Dani" She placed her head on my shoulder and made me wrap her in my arms.

"To be honest, I don't know" I said softly. I closed my eyes and rested my chin on the top of her head. She lifted her legs and rested them on my laps. "I guess its...just I'm finally realising, she's not here anymore. I'm not going to see her or hear from her again. I never even called her or told her about the boys or you. This fucking sucks" I said. Demi lifted her head from my shoulder and wiped my tears as they still fell. "This is just so hard. I can't do this" I whispered.

"Dani, things happen for a reason. Maybe it was just her time to go. Even though you never introduced us or anything, she is probably looking down on you and your family" She kissed the side of my head while caressing my cheek. "She's probably taking care of your boys like how you said she use to take care of you" I smiled at Demi and giggled a bit. "Its ok to cry Hun. I notice you didn't cry at her funeral, so just cry here" I snuggled closer to Demi and cried silently.

I'm glad to have someone like her in my life. Without her, I think I wouldn't be here. She has held me together in my darkest moments like no one can, and that's one thing I love about her. She's also the one who brought the two most important little boys into my life. And they to are the ones who can make me smile just with their little voices. Jennel couldn't even do that to me. Shit I think Jennel didn't care that much about me Like Demi does. But now it doesn't matter.

When we landed Ally picked us up and drove us home. The girls had surprised us with a welcome home banner and a couple of snacks.

"Did you have fun in Texas babe" Camila asked Alex, as I walked over to them and sat with them on the couch.

"Yeah! I played with Zoey" he said cutely. He lifted his arms to her, and she picked him up sitting him on her lap.

"DJ! I missed you" Nicki said walking from Normani to Dinah. The boys were definitely strange, when it came to these girls. They thought they all were their girlfriends, so it was cute watching them fight over them. They seriously loved the girls.

"Boys. Its time to take you your bath" Demi yelled from the downstairs bathroom. The boys whined as usual, but ran anyways.

"You ok Dani" Ally asked. I looked nodding my head.

"Yeah, just thinking" I said with a half smile.

"My condolences to your family Dan" Lauren said with a sad smile. The girls all stood up from there seats and came to attack me with hugs. These girls were seriously like my sisters. For the short time that I have known them, we have grown to live with each other because of there up coming tour with Demi. So there pretty much together 24/7.

"Aww! Really guys. Without me" we heard Demi. We opened the hug alittle, and watched Demi join in.

The boys had eventually fell asleep and we stood there talking to the girls. They ended up spending the night, so in the morning, we can all go out for breakfast.
