John's P.O.V
"Laf he's in love with Alex I love Alex more than anything but Madison looked so happy and I couldn't tell him that I love Alex it would've been awkward if I did I-......" I went silent
"I'm gonna go" I said quickly running out before he or Herc could catch me or talk to me I ran out and down the street and ran up to the abandoned bridge where my brother and I used to sign and laugh and be happy I sobbed on the metal bridge I felt my phone vibrate but I tossed it onto the ground wanting to be alone with my memories of my brother I wept and cried on the cold metal wishing that he was here
Alex's P.O.V
I felt someone shaking me and yelling I woke up with a start and ran away and covered my face but I felt the warm hands of someone "Alex John's missing" Jefferson's clear voice said I quickly got up and grabbed my phone and ran and put on my shoes Madison followed my lead and we went out searching I had a place in mind we split up and I went to a familiar abandoned bridge I found him sobbing on the metal I sat beside him "Alex?" John asked confused
'Hi' I signed
"Why are you here aren't you supposed to be at home?" John asked sniffling
'I'm here for you John' I replied
"How did you know to search here?" John asked

"ALEX how did you know that I was here?" John asked again

'John there are a lot of things you're gonna learn about me things that are cruel but true I don't want you or the others to learn those things about me so trust me when I sign

"I'm now hopelessly in love with my friend but someone told me they loved him and now I can't betray that friend by telling the person I love that I love them" I said shedding more tears than before
