I kicked open her door and barged inside. I could feel my heart pounding, my palms sweating. I turned to the living room when I heard a chuckle. There was a man standing with a beer in hand. He had tattoos all over his body, a smirk over his lips.
"You know, if you had knocked, I would've opened it,"
"Where is Danni?" I asked, feeling the anger boil inside me.
"I don't know," he shrugged, sitting himself on the couch.
"You must know where she is!" I yelled, approaching him.
"She gave me what I wanted and I said I wouldn't go after her, it's not my fault you lost your little bitch,"
"Don't you fucking dare say that!" I spat. He laughed.
"Whatever girl, I don't know where she is,"
"Then why are you here?!"
"Because this is my house as of today. Plus I don't appreciate you breaking my front door. It really upsets me,"
"Your house?"
"Yes I brought it from her mother,"
"What did she end up giving you?"
"Money of course. Her mother owed me and she gave it to me,"
"So why is she missing then?"
"Beats me girl," he sighed, taking a sip of his beer.
"Well I need answers buddy," I breathed, hearing Yvette and Narla walk through the door.
"Can't guarantee I know anything girl,"
"I don't fucking care!" I yelled, feeling a hand on my shoulder.
"What she's trying to say is you better fucking talk or else your balls will be fed to you in your sleep," Yvette threatened. He laughed.
"What they are both trying to say is we need to find our friend and we think you can help," Narla spoke calmly.
"Well I appreciate three good looking girls coming to my doorstep, but I don't appreciate being threatened or my door being broken off it's hinges by miss pole up my ass here," I tensed again.
"I understand that, but please , we came to here because we thought it would help us. Then we found you and think you can help us," Narla continued. He sighed heavily.
"I don't know what happened to the girl alright? I asked for the money her mother owed me and she gave it to me,"
"Why did she owe you money?" I asked, my fists still tight.
"Because I lent it to her for drugs and alcohol,"
"And you didn't think to say no?"
"Of course not girl, you wouldn't understand,"
"Why would I ever understand lending some hypocrite money for drugs and alcohol?" I spat. He instantly got off the couch and shoved me backwards.
"I'd watch what you say girly,"
"Don't fucking touch her," Yvette breathed, shoving him back.
"STOP!" Narla shouted. I couldn't take my gaze away form him. I knew he was keeping shit from us. His eyes were cold and threatening. But he didn't scare me. Not one bit.
"Do you know anyone who would take Danni?"
"There are some people, but why would I tell you?"
"Because its a nice thing to do," he laughed.
"You girls are out of your league here. You wouldn't understand the things Danni's mother has put her into now,"
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I mean she's going to be in a hell of a lot of trouble for a while,"
"Did these people work with you?"
"Yes, and they don't like to be kept waiting."
"Where would they be?" I asked.
"Why would I tell you? You have done nothing but disrespect me in my home since you got here,"
"Well maybe if you just fucking told me straight up where she could be we wouldn't have to in vaid your privacy,"
"I'd shut up if I was you girly,"
"Yvette take Andy outside,"
"I'm not leaving you with this bastard!" Yvette laughed.
"Please, were not going to get answers with miss grumpy butt and her sidekick in here,"
"Okay I am not a sidekick," Yvette mumbled, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Please just let us talk,"
"Fine," I mumbled.
"If you touch her, consider yourself dead," Yvette warned, following me outside.
"I can't fucking take this!" I yelled, throwing my fist against the wall.
"Andy stop!" Yvette yelled, pulling me away.
"I cant stand not knowing where she is!"
"Just fucking breathe alright! We will figure this out,"
"The longer it takes the more shit is going to happen to her Yvette! I can't stand seeing her get hurt and the thought of her getting hurt makes me fucking sick!"
"Just let Narla do her thing alright? She's really good at getting people to talk okay?"
"I'm just so fucking mad!"
"I know but we will find her okay?" I didn't know what came over me but I felt a cold tear wash down my cheek.
"I have never seen you cry," Yvette mumbled. I shook my head, trying to clear the lump in my throat.
"I love her so much Yvette. Words can't describe the things she makes me feel. I know that I fucked up our relationship but I just want her. I don't want Miss June or some fling. I want her. I need her and I can't stand knowing that some bastard has his filthy hands on her,"
"Miss June? As in a teacher?"
"It's a long ducking story," I laughed, wiping a couple of tears away.
"And you better tell me it," she laughed, holding me in her arms. I rested my head on her shoulder.
"Just know that we will find her okay? Have some faith in Narla and I. Have faith in yourself Andy. You didn't fuck up the relationship okay? Yes it's complicated but you didn't fuck it up. You are both different people who want different things,"
"Let's go," Narla spoke, leaving the house.
"Where to?" Yvette asked.
"The pub outside of town. They have their headquarters in the basement,"
"You okay to drive?"
"Ill be fine," I replied, getting into my car. I drove as fast as I could towards the pub. The thought of them doing anything to her made me sick. She's already gone through so much and now she's having to go through this too. I just wish we had a normal relationship like Yvette and Narla. Things would be so much easier then.
