Andy's P.O.V
It was graduation day and I was so nervous. I had been practicing Danni's song all night and I just wanted to get it right. I didn't want to stuff up. I kept thinking the song was too much or too little and I'm just really nervous about it. I checked myself in the mirror one last time. I was wearing a white button up shirt, black jeans and black boots.
"Here goes nothing," I mumbled, using my crutches to get down the stairs.
"You look great," Yvette smiled, packing the camera up.
"I'm so nervous," I groaned, feeling her place a hand on my shoulder.
"The song is amazing Andy. She is lucky to have you,"
"I'm the lucky one,"
"Let's get you to graduation,"
"Let's finally get out of that shithole,"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~We sat in the stage and heard the principal talk for ages. We all had our gowns in and our hats. I was annoyed because I was sitting next to two strangers all the way towards the front and Danni was near the back somewhere. I was so fucking bored. I was so Fucking nervous too. What happens if I stuff up or if I sing out of key? Ugh I'm so stressed.
"Now we have a special musical performance from one of our graduating students," here I go.
Danni's P.O.V
I watched as Andy got up from her chair and hobbled her way towards the piano. What was she doing?
"I just want to dedicate this song to my girlfriend Danni," she started, her voice shaking with nerves.
"You are my everything and I wrote this song for you, it's called Loving Her," she smiled, setting herself down at the piano. I felt the tears welling in my eyes when the principal helped me up and guided me towards the piano. Andy looked up at me, her smile wide. I stood next to the piano and felt my knees shaking with nerves. She cleared her throat and started playing.
"From the first day I saw her,
Everything was all a blur,
There was one thing I could see,
And that was beautiful to me,
The creases in her eyes,
When she smiled at the wise,
And the little laugh that followed,
The lump in my throat had swallowed,
The mole on her shoulder,
When she was feeling colder
I held her in my arms when she began to shake,
All she needed was a fucking break,
After getting abused,
She constantly felt used,
From the bruises on her cheeks,
She started to feel weak,
But little did she know that she was strong,
And there was nothing wrong,
With letting someone inside,
To break down the wall and divide,
The feeling or worthlessness,
And replace it with happiness,
She felt alone in a world full of hate,
I knew from then on I needed to debate,
My feelings for her,
And uncover the blur,
Because I knew, deep down I was in love," she rapped so clearly, her voice was so angelic."Loving her is easy,
Loving her is great,
Loving her is my everything that I've ever known,
Loving her is easy,
Loving her is great,
Loving her is my everything that I've ever known," she eyed me through the whole chorus, her voice beautiful and radiating."I never thought I was enough,
For a girl who's had it rough,
Just like me we've been unseen,
But to me she was a queen,
No matter the bruises that covered her skin,
Or the freckles that rest upon her chin,
From the redness of her lips,
To the scar across her hips,
I knew from the first day I saw her,
That I'd want nothing more than to love her,
With all my being,
To show her the meaning,
Of pure beauty,
She is such a cutie,
And Through my eyes,
She is truely beautiful," I felt the tears welling in my eyes after she rapped again."Loving her is easy,
Loving her is great,
Loving her is my everything that I've ever known,
Loving her is easy,
Loving her is great,
Loving her is my everything that I've ever known," her voice was breaking slightly as I noticed tears in her eyes."Let me tell you how beautiful she is,
Aurburn hair like a chestnut,
She defiantly got it cut,
Green eyes like an ocean,
I always stopped in motion,
Freckles like a galaxy,
It's always gonna be we,
Lips the colour of a rose
I'm so glad that I chose,
A laugh sounding like sunshine
She is finally mine,
She is truely beautiful,
Even if she wasn't full,
No words can erase,
That her world was a maze,
But I want to create,
Another debate,
So she can see through my eyes,
Just how much I'd die,
For her any day because," I let the tears fall down my cheeks."Loving her is easy,
Loving her is great,
Loving her is my everything that I've ever known,
Loving her is easy,
Loving her is great,
Loving her is my everything that I've ever known," she sang the last bit on its own without the piano. Her voice echoed through the hall. She stood and held onto my hand. When she finished everyone clapped and applauded her. I was speechless. I didn't know she could play. I didn't know she could write. And I didn't know she could sing."Dannielle Michelson, there isn't a day that goes by that I don't realise how truely in love with you I am. When we first met, we were at different stages in our lives. I know now that we are coming together and planning to spend forever together," I watched as she got down on one knee.
"This is a promise ring. I want to promise to love, to care, to laugh, to argue and to be with you until the day we get married. I promise to be true to you and to show you how truely beautiful you are. Will you promise me too?" I couldn't say anything. I was speechless. I shook my head, and kneeled on the floor, wrapping my arms around her neck. She held me into her, planting a kiss on my cheek. Everyone cheered and applauded us.
"I love you so much," I cried, watching her put the ring on.
"And I love you," she smiled, kissing me on the lips.
"Yas!" Yvette screamed in the audience.
"Let's graduate," Andy smirked, helping me up to my feet.
"And let's start the next chapter of our lives,"
"Let's," I smiled, hugging her again.
