Chapter six: Demons Don't Cry
And after that sweet moment. It was ruined. By a gun shot, and a flash of rain and his crew.

Everything was happening so fast. All I saw was blurs of colors and I could smell smoke. Simone and Thomas went under the table. I saw my blonde Hickory up and walking towards the crew.
I was being pulled under the table by Simone, not realizing it. I was frozen with shock.
Why rain, why does he always have to do this. He stalks me, and then pounces. But the worst part is, he has his crew with him.
The crew consists of, azzalee she's a geek pretty much. Her brother jones, he's the one who does explosives (and wired the smoke bomb) tetherr, one of the fighters. And Rain himself. Rain does nothing but boss people around, throwing out threats, and a few punches.
Luckily our little table had a table clothe, long enough to drape down over the sides to hide us.
Simone was wrapped up in ThoAnd after that sweet moment. It was ruined. By a gun shot, and a flash of rain and his crew. Simone was wrapped in Thomas' arms while I sat alone.
I peeked between the table clothe slightly seeing hickory talking to rain. The crew searching around for something...maybe even someone.
The crew was fliping tables and dragging hostages to a safe point, not trying to hurt anyone.
"Vanish" I said. Turning toward Thomas quickly. "Make sure you too get home safe. I'll alert you when were safe" I said. Hoping my instructions were clear.
A few seconds later I was all alone. Under this table. I was scared but I wouldn't let them know that. I sent hickory a message
/I'm going to need you to make me invisible while I hop tables. Please./
And in return, I saw hickory staring at my table intently from the crack in the clothe. Slowly, I started to fade. Hickory only has to work hard for a little. Once I'm invisible it lasts for days. Until he takes the "shield" off.
I poped out from under the table and flipped it. Everyone stopped and stared. It was the exact reaction I had wanted.
Hickory's POV::
I had to talk to rain, if I distract him, then he won't tell his goons to do any destruction.
I know the main order for everyone was to find my Lou. They went around flipping tables and breaking bottles. Pure stupidity I thought.
I talked to him about a compromise. That I would bring out lou if his goons stopped searching and didn't hurt her. (Such a lie, I would never do such a thing)
Then I heard Lou's voice in my head. /I need you to make me invisible. Please./
To her command I started working my magic. It was difficult to do looking away so I stared at the table. Acting like I was looking out the window.
I saw her peaking out from under the table. Slowly fading. Her beautiful green orbs full of determination. Almost as if she has a plan up her sleeve.
I saw the table flip, and no one was around to flip it. The crew stopped and stared, wondering what force was applied they rushed to the table. Not being able to find anything, I knew exactly where Lou was. On too of the table by the window.
The crew was now trying to use their senses to find her but they didn't have as much wits as rain and I. Rain probably knew where she was, but I'm closer to her. I started to make a move towards a table in the opposite direction. To create a diversion.
I peaked under the table slowly, whispering silent nothings to some shadows. Lou took that as the time for action, she sprung into the air and tumbled through the window.
She went around and broke all of the windows to make it seem like an attack not an escape.
I slowly crawled back out and vanished to outside. I couldn't be seen by people as well as demons. I saw Lou. She was walking towards the woods when she stopped. And fell to her knees.
I ran over to her as fast as possible.
There was a panicking Lou, and some blood... But the thing that caught my eye..
Was the arrow in her stomach.
