"Um... Eddy?" Ed started to say to the picture. "Mum and dad still love each other. A lot. This is just hard for us. But don't worry. Mum and dad are always gonna love each other. Can I tell you a secret?

"When I first saw mum, I thought she was my soulmate." He said this with a slight smile. "I've gotta go record my song I made for you. I love you, Teddy."

He set the picture down and stood up to leave, putting on a blue jumper and closing the door behind him.

"New song for your son?" Stu asked. Ed nodded.

"As you know, we lost him. It's for him, from his dad that he never got the meet." Ed stated, tugging at his sleeves.

"You want one for him?" Stuart asked. Ed nodded.

"Yeah. I was writing one for him for a while, but I couldn't find what I wanted for the last lyrics. I was in the waiting room in the hospital and it just... escaped my mouth. I knew I lost him and right after I sang the words, I was told it was for good." Ed said with his eyes down.

"Where's Emily?"

"Back in Florida. She needed to leave. She couldn't do it. She had to go away. Emily thought he would've been exactly like me, and I guess I reminded her too much of it." He said sadly. Stuart patted his back.

"If you want to," Stuart said. Ed nodded.

"Yeah. I do. I think he'd want me to." Ed replied.

"You were just a small bump unborn for four months, then torn from life. Maybe you were needed up there but we're still unaware as why." Ed sang for the very last part. About twenty seconds after he stopped, Ed broke into tears, silently, though visible.

Emily's older brother, David, let Emily stay at their home while his family went on vacation. Emily lay on the couch upside down, not caring anymore. She played Ed's old songs from her phone while eating ice cream. It was her favorite flavor, Butter Pecan. She wore one Ed's red baggy jumpers that she wore a lot since Ed let her.

Once his last song was done, she sat down and watched "Remember me." About 10 minutes into it, Ed called. She looked at her phone and paused. She hesitated to answer, not wanting to talk to him, but parts of her wanted just that. "Teddy?" She asked as she ate her ice cream.

"Hey, Emily." He said, happy she answered. "I didn't think you were gonna answer." He said to her. She sighed, then paused again.

"I didn't think I would either." She said sadly. He pursed his lips.

"Listen..." He said slowly. "I, um... well I-"

"Ed what? What do you want?" She asked in a pleading tone.

"I-I... I just want you. That's all. I miss you." He said to her. She sighed.

"I don't know, Ed. I just... stuff happened to us. I know we're both devastated, but it's different for us. Clearly, you can wake up and get on with your day. I'm sitting on the couch watching a Robert Pattinson movie that's not Twilight while eating ice cream and wearing your red hoodie. I'm not as OK as you are." She said without a care.

"I get that it's different. But I love you-" "I love you too! But I... I just can't right now! Eddy, I want you, but I can't have you-!" "I'll let you have me. I will let you. You know it." He said sweetly to her. She licked her lips for a short moment.

"I find it safe to say... that I'll be here for a little over a month. I have a job here. I have since I was thirteen. I know these people. It's not London. I loved it there, no doubt... but I know what my place is here. These people grew up with me. But I love you more than them. I just need to be here." She said honestly. "I just want my son back."

"Emily, I want him back too. Without a doubt. I was with you for about a month and then you're pregnant suddenly. I was so in love with him. I mean, this morning, I was talking to the ultrasound of him." She paused.

"What'd you say?"

"I told him that I loved you. And that you loved me." He said. "I told him a secret too."

"What secret?"

"It's a secret. I can't say what I said. Only Edward and I know. I only told him. No one else. Just him. But... I think it's clear. I would've seen it coming. Especially from you." She thought for a long moment.

"You know I'm never calling you Edward again, right?" He nodded. "Yeah. I know." He replied sadly.

"Look, I just... I just need to... it's my son... I just..." She didn't finish and sighed.

"Alright. I get it. If you move on, then you move on. If you love someone else... I get it. If you fall in love with a childhood friend, I understand. But I'll still be here for you. If-"

"Teddy I won't. You know it better than anyone."

"But do I? I don't know if you would like another guy! I see why! An amazing, strong, beautiful girl like you? Any guy would like you. Yet you chose a ginger who does gigs and is making an album."

"Ed, I love you. Go out an have a one-night stand if you please. You may not see more for a while. Just know that."

"I don't want a one-night stand! Emily, I want you!"

"I'm here! And I want you but I need to be away! Please, Eddy, understand." She heard noises from his lips, but no words came out.

"I get it. Just know that I'll be waiting here for you." He said sadly. She sighed and took another bite of ice cream before speaking.

"Go. Have a one night stand. Just go out." She stated to him.

"Emily I don't-"

"Teddy, I feel like you do. Or at least find someone to talk to that isn't Edward or me!" She exclaimed. He sighed.

"Alright. Fine." He said with an unfortunate voice. "I love you, Emily." He said.

"I love you too, Ed." She said, Ed, hanging up. He stood up and looked at the framed ultrasound of his son.

"Mum is just stressed for now, but she'll be better soon. We'll be together again. I have to go... meet some girl. But I'll be back." He stood up and left, going to a bar.

As he sat down, he grabbed a napkin. "Sunburn." He murmured as he wrote.

"Sunburn?" An attractive girl sitting next to him asked. She looked about his age, and she had long blonde hair. She looked just like a person who would gladly have a one-night stand.

"Yeah." He said pausing.

"That's interesting." She told him. He nodded.

"Yeah. I write and sing songs." He stated.

After a short hour of talking, she went to his home. She took his jumper off then stopped. "What's this?" She asked as she went to the ultrasound.

"Um... t-that's... m-my kid." He stuttered.

"You have children?" She exclaimed.

"No, I-I don't!" He replied.

"You said it was your kid!" She shouted. He nodded and sighed.

"I lost him. Yesterday." He said slowly. She scoffed and put her hand on her face.

"This was a mistake." She said as she grabbed her purse. "Goodbye, Ed. I'm sorry about your kid." She said leaving. He sighed and sat down on his bed, looking at his picture. He picked it up and lay down, his son in his arms while he slept.
