One Year Anniversary

On October 16th, 2016, I published the story you are reading right now.

Honestly, I can't believe it's already been a year. Time flew by really fast, and I feel like it was just yesterday that I somehow managed to convince myself that this story was a good idea and that people might actually like it.

Speaking of people actually liking this story, I'm honestly really happy that you guys do in fact like this story. You really don't know how happy it makes me to receive votes and comments from you guys, especially since I'm a VERY harsh critic of myself, and I'm never truly satisfied with anything that I write because of it.

Yeah, while you guys are endlessly praising this story, I'm endlessly criticizing absolutely everything about it, even the tiniest of details that don't really seem to matter all that much.

Anyway, I've been struggling for a couple of weeks now trying to figure out what I want to do to celebrate one year of Pretty Boy, and while I've figured something out, I don't think anyone's actually going to do it because every time I've attempted to host a contest, NO ONE has actually done it.

But hey, maybe this time will be different (I highly doubt it, but fuck it I literally have nothing else in mind)

So, you may be asking, "So, what's the contest?"

The contest is a cover/fan-made creation contest for this book!

That's right, I want you, yes, you, the one reading this right now, to make a cover for this story. Or, if you don't want to do that, you could other things such as write a oneshot, draw some fanart, or whatever else you can think of. I know that you guys are creative and have talent, even if you don't know it, and I want to see you express your creativity and talent while expressing your love for this story.

I don't have any rules other than the obvious ones such as whatever you create must pertain to the story in some way and it must be your own creation, not someone else's. Other than that, do whatever you want and be creative!

By the way, you can post your creations in either your randomness book, your contest entry book, etc, or even a new book entirely. Just be sure to tag me either in the story part or in the comments, and you'll know that I have seen it when I vote on it (I'll also more than likely be commenting on it too)

With all of that out of the way, let's talk about prizes because I'm sure that that's so,etching that you would like to know.

Cover contest prizes:

3rd place- A follow if I haven't followed you already, and cover used as the cover for the story for one week with credit in description
2nd place- A follow if I haven't followed you already, and cover used as the cover for the story for two weeks with credit in description
1st place- A follow if I haven't followed you already, and cover used as the replacement for the current one with credit in description (Meaning that it'll more than likely be used for a very long time)

Non-cover contest prizes:

3rd place- A follow if I haven't followed you already, and if it's not a oneshot, more than likely posted in the media of one of the chapters with credit at the very beginning of the chapter. If it is a oneshot, a vote on the chapter
2nd place- A follow if I haven't followed you already, and see above, only this time I will use your creation as either a profile picture or header for a week with credit in my bio if possible. If it's not possible, I'll figure something out. If it is a oneshot, a vote on the chapter and a review of the oneshot
1st place- A follow if I haven't followed you already, see above yet again, but this time I will use your creation as either a profile picture or header for two weeks with credit in my bio if possible. Again, if it's not possible, I'll figure something out. If it is a oneshot, a vote on the chapter, a review of the oneshot, and oneshot posted as an entry in this book with credit

I'm really horrible with prizes and they're probably really bad ugh sorry

But anyway, if you are for some reason interested in participating (Bless your soul if you are because I've always wanted to successfully hold and judge a contest), your deadline is October 31st AKA Halloween because why not and because I know that creating stuff can take time so I'm giving you guys a little over two weeks to get your entries done and submitted
