The smoke was getting thicker as you further walked along which could indicate that you were getting closer to the source. Next to you, Ochaco seemed to be holding up well but you needed to keep an eye on her just in case. As you continued to walk, there was a loud crash heard from somewhere up above. The situation could be escalating at this moment but since neither of you had any idea what was going on, it was difficult to determine what to do. Ochaco looked shaken up by the loud crash. She had been through a lot and hadn't it been for her, you would have not survived the room. You wanted to show her you appreciated her hard efforts.

"Hey," you spoke up. "I just wanted to say thank you for eventually trusting me back there. I know it must have been hard for you and I hope one day we can really try to be friends."

She was silent for a moment. It looked like she was contemplating something; but then a look of embarrassment crossed her face. "I'm sorry for the way I acted. It was really crummy and I shouldn't have tried to...to place my anger on you when it wasn't your fault. I hope we can be friends too."

"Maybe if survive this we can go watch a movie sometime," you joked. "But thanks, Ochaco. I accept your apology."

The two of you continued looking around for Todoroki and Mineta while at the same time looking for any of the other students who may need help. Some of the buildings that you and Ochaco had stumbled upon were empty or incomplete. Like someone hadn't finished constructing them. As you looked around and called out for someone, anyone, a little ribbit was heard coming from a road to the west.

"Tsu!" Your eyes started to well with tears. You ran towards what sounded like your best friend, waving your arms around frantically. "Tsuuuuuu!"

"(Name)?" she croaked. "Is that you?"

"Tsuuuuuu! It's me!"

"(Name)!"

You ran into each other's arms, embracing one another tightly. As you hugged your close friend, you noticed her hair smelt burnt. When you pulled back from the hug she looked up at you and you saw how she had smudges of soot all over her face.

"Oh my God, Tsu, what happened?" you asked concerned.

"It was so weird. I woke up in this room that had slowly started to catch on fire and burn. I looked over and saw that Ojiro was with me and trying to figure out what to do. There was no door or windows so we were so scared that we were going to die. It was awful, (Name)!"

"I'm so sorry I couldn't find you sooner, Tsu. I would have tried any way to get you out of there." You gave her another hug to comfort her.

Ojiro had come running from the same path Tsu had come from. He looked exhausted and also had ash marks on his face. It looked like Tsu had accidentally left him behind when she heard you calling out her name. You couldn't help but feel sorry for him as it looked like he too had been through his fair share of hell. When he approached you he was out of breath and his forehead shined with sweat.

"Hey, are you guys alright? We barely managed to escape back there," he said, a worried look on his face.

"Yeah, same thing for us. But if it wasn't for Ochaco's quirk we would have been sunk.... literally. We were stuck in this room with some kind of quicksand. But we're fine now."

"Are you alright, Ojiro?" Ochaco asked concerned. "You don't look so well."

He shook his head. "Since Tsu doesn't do so well in heat I offered to carry her out of the building. I think I breathed in too much smoke back there but I'm glad she's okay. Have you guys found any other classmates?"

"(Name) was able to get in contact with Todoroki. I left my cellphone in my bag so I couldn't call Midoriya to see where he was..." The gravity quirked girl hung her head in defeat.
