Cruel Intentions (Todoroki x Reader)

Chapter 15 - Slumber Party

     The week had flown by faster than you thought it would. Between checkups from the doctors and the school nurses, and students asking you all sorts of things, you felt mentally drained. You were ready to just unwind in your home all by yourself. But then you remembered that this weekend you would be having your slumber party. Tsu, Ochaco, Midoriya and Todoroki were able to sleep over after all. Word got around about what was happening at your house and you surprisingly did have a few other students inquire about the event. You had to tell them respectively that you could only house 4 other people as of now but perhaps in the future that could change. Most likely, it wouldn't but you didn't want to hurt their feelings. You had worked things out with the corporation and managed to let 4 of your friends sleep over while 2 extra friends would have to leave before it got too late. 

The extra people who decided to stick along were Denki, and Jiro. Goliath was a little hesitant at first about so many people coming over. But before you knew it, he had gone all out again. Your jaw dropped when you arrived to your room and came upon the sight of various sweets and savory treats piled all around the room.

"If I didn't know, I would think a party is being thrown here," you remarked. 

Goliath sheepishly hung around your doorway entrance. "Okay, I guess I bought a little too much but you never know. Teenagers can be so hungry nowadays. I know I was when I was your age."

"Yeah but you're like a literal giant." 

He raised an eyebrow at you. "Damn right I am!" He cracked a huge smile before showing off his muscles by flexing.

"Oh god, okay, okay, I get it!" you laughed. "Listen, when's the next time I gotta go downstairs and train with you? I don't want to be hit with any surprises and force my guests out."

"They told me it would be sometime next week so you should be good."

You let out a sigh of relief. Goliath walked over and placed a gentle hand at your shoulder. He gave you a quick pat to calm you down.

"It's gonna be okay," he said. "Relax." 

He could tell how nervous you were. 

"I know...I'm just not used to having friends over you know? Like what if they get bored and want to leave...?"

"That won't happen. You're a bright kid who knows how to have fun," he reassured. 

"But what if they just don't see that?"

Goliath enveloped you into a comforting hug. He ran his hand up and down your back to soothe all your nerves. You felt comforted by his hug. 

School had just ended and you felt like any moment now your friends would walk in. After school, they had headed back home to gather up their things and drop off their school supplies. Lucky for you since it seemed like you needed time to get your emotions in check. Goliath pulled you back from the hug and knelt down a bit so that he could better look at you. 

"Everything is going to be okay, I promise." 

He looked at you with earnest eyes and you believed him. Letting out another sigh of relief, you could feel yourself getting much more calm. Suddenly, the doorbell rang in your room. 

"They're here!"

    Everyone slowly began piling in. Ochaco and Tsu were the first two to arrive. They came in carrying backpacks filled with clothes and other needed supplies. You guided them into your room that was filled with less snacks, since you hid the rest away in your closet so you wouldn't look like a snack manic. Just as they were about to get settled in, Midoriya rang the doorbell and arrived as well. Back and forth you went as you escorted him up to your room and then back downstairs you went to let in Jiro and Denki in. The only person who had yet to arrive was Todoroki.
