Humbert's POV/

I sat in the empty class room waiting for the bell to ring, Jenna walked into the room, in her hands were the papers I had asked her to staple.

"Thanks." I said looking down at my phone. I looked up at her, she raised her eyebrow and seemed confused, or maybe even displeased.

"What?" I asked looking back at my phone. She sighed.

"What?" I asked again adding a little laugh.

"It's nothing." She said rolling her eyes, she was clearly pissed, but I don't have the time to deal with it.

"Okay." I said throwing the conversation away.

"I think it's just funny how I went through all this time to staple your papers and all I get is a little half-assed thanks. Also, I went to your office and you weren't there, I came here and you weren't here. Where were you?" Jenna asked, she just kept going on and on. I started to realize why I'm gay.

"Well, I appreciate you taking time out of your day to staple the papers. And I was out, personal business." I said standing up from my desk, I felt like I was being cornered, and I'm not the type that likes to be cornered.

"I'm sure you were out with some "personal business"." Jenna said laughing.

When the bell rang, I got ready for class. We're working on current events, I fricking love current events.

"Alright kiddos! Today we're working on current events! I love current events, and so do my civics geeks!" I got a laugh out of two students.

"Predicable." I whispered to myself.

Barr's POV/

(Picking up from when the student asked about his hair.)

I stumbled over my words when trying to answer, what the hell do you say to that?

"I-I was just doing some workouts in my prep." I said uneasily, I got many stares from different students.

"Excuse me, but I smell some gay in the air around you. Is there something you're not telling us?" The gayest student possible asked, they were starting to catch on. I tried to turn away in embarrassment, but they knew. My face was painted red in exposed!

I looked at my watch, not only for the time, but also to see if Matt texted me. Nothing. Where is he when I need him to save my ass? (Or fuck him in the ass.)

I passed out a review worksheet to take the attention away from me. I ran behind my desk for safety. I texted Matt, my hands shaking.

JB: I think students are starting to catch on even more than before.

Matt: What do you mean?

JB: They seemed to notice my hair, I just think we have to be careful. More than we already are.

Matt: Aww, kitten. Don't worry, why don't you come back to my place around work??

I blushed at the sight of the pet name

JB: Okay, only if you don't mind.

Matt: Of course I don't mind. 3:30 sound good?

JB: 👌🏻

I looked up from my phone, a smile was thrown on my face, it soon washed away from a students comment.

"Are you texting your boyfriend, Mr. Barr?" The student asked, I rolled my eyes.
