Chapter 41

2 weeks later

Ali's POV

Today was our last checkup before I'd have the babies.

I was so exited to get another picture of them and see how they were doing.
And so was Jace, all morning he was getting everything together and helped me get ready this morning so we could leave.

Currently he was helping me out on my cardigan and flats.

"Thanks Jace." I said to him as I was blindly slipping on my flats.

"Of course sweetheart." He answered, standing up I swept my eyes over his appearance and he still left me breathless.

His black silky hair was pushed back, his blue eyes as bright as ever, he was wearing regular jeans with a black shirt, not letting his nice abs be hidden. On his feet was his black converse and to complete the look, I pulled him down catching him by surprise and smacked my lips right on his cheek, and stained his skin with red lipstick. I let him go and I smiled big when I saw my lipstick on his cheek. I laughed a little and he turned around and looked into the mirror. When he saw what I did he smiled too and chuckled a bit.

"So all the girls know your mine." I said  a little jokingly.

I knew I didn't have to worry about any of that.

I trust Jace with my life.

He smiled warmly down at me and slipped his arms around my waist and pulled me towards him.

One hand slipped back out and cupped my cheek, I leaned into his warm touch and closed my eyes.

"I'm all yours." He whispered.

I opened my eyes and watched as he leant down and captured my lips softly.
I kissed him back with pure love and when we were done he said the three words that I will never be tired of hearing.

"I love you." He stared deeply into my eyes.

"I love you to Jace." I whispered.

"Allison how nice to see you!" I heard Anna say as I walked into the room with Jace holding my hand.

I smiled at her and responded kindly.

"Hey Anna."

She closed the door behind us and Jace walked me over the the bed thingy and helped me up on it.

Once I was situated Anna told me to lie down, which I did. This was like my 3rd or 4th check up and I was totally comfortable with doing this then I was the first time, no freak outs.

"So Allison, we are just gonna put some of this gel on your stomach and I'm going to check on the babies and make sure everything is going great." She said giving me a smile.

I nodded and I felt Jace squeeze my hand.

I looked over to him and watched as he mouthed the words "I love you."

I smiled again, as this guy never failed to make me do so, and mouthed back to him the same words.

He showed me his white teeth as he smiled brightly and Anna started talking again so I turned back to her.

"Can you please lift your shirt up Ali?"

"Of course."

I took the hem of my shirt, now stronger then I was months ago, with no more insecurities to hold me back from being confident.

I lifted my shirt and it revealed my huge stomach, which is a good thing, and Anna started to smear the gel over my stomach.

When she finished she took the tool and started to rub it over my belly, my stomach popped up on the screen where I could see my two precious babies.

"Now if everything goes as planned, which I'm sure it will as I see nothing is wrong, the baby boy will be born in about two weeks, and the baby girl will be born about 3-4 weeks after that." She told me, looking at Jace and I.
My heart started to beat faster as the closer it came to my due date, the more anxious, nervous, and exited I got.

His thumb made circles on my palm, his touch relaxed me.

I nodded to her statement and looked over to Jace and saw how happy he was for the babies to be coming.

"We are going to be parents soon." He whispered to me, leaning his elbows on the bed thingy, still holding my hand.

My eyes stared to water, "I know, you are going to be a great dad Jace." I told him controlling my breathes so I don't break down into tears.

He brought my hand to his mouth and kissed it lightly.

"Your going to make an excellent mom sweetheart, I just know."

I smiled through my tears of joy, and his thumb brushed my cheeks, wiping the tears away.

"Well I will leave you guys alone now, I wish you guys the very best. And here is your picture." She handed me the small square photo.

I took it and thanked her from the bottom of my heart, she is such a sweet lady.

"Of course dear." With that she left the room and Jace helped me quickly rub all the gel off before helping me up in a sitting position.

Together we looked at the photos in awe.

I knew we couldn't see small details of them but I already knew they were cute.

I'm going to be a mom soon...that's really scary...but I know that I'll be just fine. I have Jace, my brother, and Sara. With them everything will be okay.

"They are adorable." He said close to me, holding the picture.

He turned towards me and I turned towards him.

"Just like you." He poked my nose with his index finger.

I let out a laugh and I couldn't contain my smile.

"Their going to have your beautiful smile, I can just feel it." He said softly gliding his fingers over my lips.

"And your dimples." He added looking into my green eyes.

My hands raised and griped his wrist.
We were now both looking at each other, love was poring out of our hearts.

"But most of all-" he paused and grabbed my face with his hands.

"They are going to have our unconditional love for them." He finished softly.

Jesus that was heartwarmingly beautiful.

And you already know, emotions got to the best of me and silent tears ran down my cheeks.

I nodded.

"Yes they will Jace. No doubt."

AWEEEEE THIS WAS SUCH A CUTE JALLISON MOMENT AT THE END WHO AGREES?!?!?

I really hope y'all enjoyed this rather quicker update then what has been happening recently :)

Anyways, I hope y'all didn't forget that the twins are like a month or less apart so she will give birth to the baby boy, wait a few weeks, and then have the girl.
