Books are like mini worlds you can hold in your hands
Each one an adventure
Different people, towers, and bandsThe sounds of honking cars on a busy street
Every story, a new person you meetSometimes the stories feel so real
You’ll talk about it for days
Then everyone you know wants to know the deal
Because a book is different in so many waysYou might seem like a weirdo to them
But they don’t understand
It’s so much more than just a bookIt’s a whole wide world full of stories, people, and places
You get to travel the world without leaving home
Yet, you get to see so many new facesThis poem is strange, but it’s got a hook
And for English 9
This is my ode to booksA/N: This one is awful 😂
