She was like the weather
One minute completely sunny, not a cloud in the sky
Then she becomes a thunderstorm
Sometimes a tornado will come out of nowhere
But after the storm, just like most others, comes a rainbow
Bright and full of hope
It’s calm for a bit, but all good things must come to an end
Now she is a flower
Wonderful but misunderstood
Sometimes taken for granted
A hurricane storms in; destroying her
She’s weak, but every drop of water makes her stronger
What exactly is she? You might ask
Storm or flower?
She is both
She is the flower and the storm that destroys the flower
Self-destructive
It’s sad to see someone you care about this way
Sometimes you feel there is nothing you can do to help
But sometimes storms and flowers don’t need help
Sometimes all they need is someone to care
And save them from the stormy parts of themselves
A/N: I haven't posted in a while. Oops.
This was a poem I had to write for school last year. The next few poems I'm gonna post are also ones I had to write for school last year.
