AFTERWORD
Hi! This is Kyle. I was the one who wrote this story—The Second Hand of Time. Writing the whole story took five months! Well, after finishing the story, I got inspired to write more!
The whole story is actually divided into two parts: The Battle Grounds Match and The Python's Invasion. I tried to end the whole story after the battlegrounds match but the story seemed incomplete. That's why I had my best friends—Dan and Ben to help me think of a new story line after the Battle Grounds arc.
Oh, I have to thank Ben for giving the protagonist's name—LeKradz. It was his username in his MMORPG characters. I found it awesome. We never knew the real meaning of the name, but since it sounds cheesy and cool, we added it. Haha. We never knew how to speak Italian, since Dan told me that 'Le' is an Italian word. If I'm wrong, tell me.
By the way, at first I was always using LeKradz's point of view. Since the story have a lot of protagonists, Ben, Dan and I decided to use third-person's point of view style, or whatever it's called. That made the whole story a whole lot longer.
Anyway, since I'm addicted to martial arts and swordplay, I decided to write the whole action scenes as if I was there. I also added some weird (or awesome) weapons from my sword and weapons vocabulary.
I didn't add any guns in the story since I'm not a fan of modern type of weapons. Guns are too easy to describe. You shoot, then the other dies. You can't block or parry it. My point here is, I find the classic style of battle more enjoyable.
LeKradz loves the music genre of metal. Well, we wrote it that way because I too, am a metalhead (metalhead - a person who loves metal and the hard-rock genres). Ben and I loved listening to metal songs and interpreting the sad and conforming lyrics. The lyrics made us feel much more alive.
I hope you enjoyed this story too! Ben and I decided to make a sequel to this story, but this time, Clifford will be the main protagonist. The title I would give would be, 'The Brawn Of the Blades' since it describes Clifford's love for his swords.
I hope it will be as enjoyable as this one.
