The M-104 is designed to serve as a medium range aircraft and missile interdictors. It's 8 Tarlace missile and twin lasers greatly expand the engagements envelope of NA ait defenses beyond the short ranged M-101's. They fill a gap that the less mobile M-109's leave empty.
