The M-101 serves in a vital role of short range air defenses. Most low caliber projectile weapons in service by the NA use hydrox as a propellant. However, the M-101 instead uses newly perfected compact magnetic accelerators, which means that this diminutive vehicle carries four 38mm highly velocity railguns. When combined with it's advanced system of targeting sensors, the average KP of any hostile craft entering the M-101's range reaches nearly .3. The greater drawback of the M-101 is it's relatively short range and inaccuracy. However, these are overcome by deploying the M-101 in large groups with interlocking field of fire.
