--a few weeks later--

Bill stared at Dipper's seat. He had seen the smaller boy leave early like he always does to make sure he's not late but the class was almost over and the boy still wasn't here. Bill's attention was drawn to the front when someone walked into the class, a dark blue hoodie pulled up in an attempt to hide their face. He stared as the kid walked up to the teacher and handed her a note, she took it and waved, signalling him to sit down. Bill watched with a glimmer of hope. He silently cheered when the kid sat in Dipper's seat. He played his head down, not long after the bell rang and Bill quickly made his way over. He tapped on the kid's head, earning a groan in response. Bill did this three times, getting the same response every time "Look at me pinetree!" The teen shot his head up "LEAVE ME ALONE!" Dipper quickly put his hands over his face, realizing his mistake. "Look at me" Bill said softly, Dipper shook his head in response, in one swift action Bill pinned Dipper's wrists to the table, his eye widening at what he saw "what-no -who did this to you" Dipper had a split lip, his left eye was purple-ish and slightly swollen "n-no one d-did anything" he paused before saying in a quiet voice "I just tripped" Bill was fuming by now, he took a deep breath and said through clenched teeth "Don't. lie. to. me." tightening his grip on Dipper's wrists with every word. the smaller boy whimpered before saying, even quieter then before "I'm not" tears starting to form at the corners of his eyes. "l et go of me" he says in a shakey voice. As soon as Bill removed his hands from Dipper's wrists the kid shot up and ran out of the room with his stuff. For the rest of the day Dipper was at least ten minutes late to each of his classes, a metallic smell on him that was stronger with every class.
