Chapter 18

Dipper hadn't left their dorm all week, Bill brought dipper his assignments and then would turn them in for him. It is now Friday and Bill was happily returning to their dorm with no weekend assignments.

Bill slammed open the door, making Dipper jump, with a huge grin on his face. Dipper stared at him with wide eyes "What has you so happy?" Bill speed walked over to Dipper and flopped next to him on his small bed "guess" he simply stated, his grin growing wider. Dipper tapped his chin "no assignments?" Bill laughed "That and something else" he said wiggling his eyebrows. Dipper stared at his with adorable wide chocolate eyes "I d-don't know what it is, just tell me" he said looking down at his phone trying to hide a blush, making Bill's heart melt at the extreme amounts of cuteness. "There's a fair in town today!" Dipper looked back up at Bill with a worried look, the elder male's smile fading "I was kinda hoping we could go, just me and you, but i won't force you if you don't want to.." Dipper looked at him quizzically "just us, no one else?" "well other people will be coming to the fair too." Dipper punches Bill playfully "you know what I meant!" thee two sit in silence for a little bit "it sounds like fun, what were you planning on us leaving at?" Bill lit up "you really want to go!?" Dipper smiles sweetly at him "why not, like I said it sounds like fun." Bill quietly celebrates "Okay, you have an hour to get ready!" he says, pulling both of them off of the bed then rushing to his clothes to pick out 'the perfect outfit'. Dipper rolls his eyes and goes to get changed.

Dipper walks out of their bathroom, wearing a red plaid shirt, skinny jeans, and black converse. Bill smiles "you ready to go?" Dipper looks at him, Bill is wearing a his black eyepatch, black jacket, a yellow shirt under it, black jeans, and also a pair of black converse. "yeah, just let me grab one more thing!" Dipper quickly grabbed the pinetree hat off his desk, making Bill smile. The two walked to the parking-lot, chatting happily the way there. "hey Bill, could I drive?" Dipper asked nervously as they approached Bill's car. "sure pinetree" Bill said, tossing the keys to him as they walked on opposite sides of the bright yellow car. "I really can?" Dipper asked excitedly as he sat in the driver's seat. Bill chuckled "why not, I'll just have the GPS tell you where to go" he pulled out this phone, typing in the address of where the fair is.

*20 minute time skip :P* 

The two males walked up to the admission booth, Dipper stood nervously next to Bill as the smiling lady inside said hello. Dipper just stared off in the distance as the two conversed about tickets and wristbands, hims attention only brought back when he heard her say "okay.. couples tickets, that'll be $36.75" Bill thanked her and paid. Dipper had a light blush on his face as he put on his wristband. "have fun you two!" the lady said as the two started to walk away, Bill smiled and gave her a thumbs up. Dipper looked around with wide excited eyes, Bill was watching Dipper with a wide smile on his face. "so.. what do you want to ride?" Dipper looked around again but with a more nervous demeanor "um.. could you pick our first ride?" Dipper asked, looking up at Bill with a doe-eyed look that made him want to take the younger male then and there. Bill cleared his throat and lead them to a ride called Fire Ball. There weren't many people in line so the two got to get on the first ride. At first the ride just swung from left to right, slowly picking up speed and going higher each time. Once the ride hit max height on the right side it started spinning, very fast. Dipper hated it. He unconsciously grabbed Bill's hand, squeezing it as hard as he could.

Bill's POV~

Many of the people on the ride started screaming, either with fear or with joy, when it started spinning but I smiled wide as my mouth would allow, laughing a few times as it went faster. I was surprised when I felt a hand snake into mine followed by tight squeezing. I look over at Pinetree and he has his eyes closed tightly, his left hand has a death grip on the restraining bar, and his right holding mine. A pang of sadness hit hard in my heart. I softly squeezed his hand back, hoping to give a little comfort. The ride soon stopped and the restraining bars lifted. Pinetree went to stand up and must have not noticed he was still holding my hand, a huge blush covered his face and he pulled his hand away. He is so adorable I swear my heart is going to explode. The blush still on his face "um.. Bill did you like the ride?" he askes, I shrug and say with a crooked smile "it was okay"

Third-person POV~

"it was okay" Dipper quietly sighed in relief, Bill's smile grew a little wider "would you like to try a more mild ride?" Dipper looked up at him with a grateful smile "yeah."

They have rode most of the rides by the time it starts getting dark. The two walk by some food-stands, approaching one with corn-dogs and funnel-cakes displayed on the front. When the girl working there notices them she asks "what  can I get you two" with a smile bright on her face. "I'll have a funnel cake" Dipper answers with a weak smile "and I'll have a corndog." Bill finishes off.  "okay that'll be $15" she shifts her gaze to Dipper "and the cutie's number" she adds with a wink. Bill easily noticed how Dipper almost instantly because nervous and uncomfortable. He glared at the lady "Here's the 15 and I would appreciate it if you don't hit on my boyfriend" both the Lady's face paled and Dipper's face became red. "oh sorry, I didn't know" she said handing Bill their food. As the two started walking away Dipper whispered "why did you say that" Bill smirked "it was the easiest way to get her to leave you alone with no questions asked" "oh.. thanks" Dipper said quietly.

 *time skip cause I can*

 The sun was almost gone and fireworks were going to start soon, Bill and Dipper were in line for the ferris-wheel. It was just two more people and they would be on, luckily they got the last seat. Bill noticed as it started going higher Dipper got a bit more shaky, Bill put his hand on top of Dipper's. When Dipper looked at him he said with a smile "there's no need to be worried, we won't fall" Dip smiled back "okay" he replied, slipping his fingers between Bill's. Bill put his other hand on Dipper's cheek, turning his head to face him again, and leaned close "have I ever told you how adorable your eyes are?" he asked, his yellow eyes sparkling with both love and amusement. "not that I recall" He replied, leaning closer. Bill opened his mouth to say something but didn't get the chance. Dipper grabbed his shirt, pulling him down and connecting their lips. Only a few seconds later a firework exploded in the sky, making a big, bright, red, heart.
