Last Scene, First Kiss

"TIME FOR THE LAST SCENE!" A workman yelled, scaring me out of my trance.

Nancy pranced around happily, fussing over Christoph's costume, who looked utterly uncomfortable. Fluffy patted my back.

"Ampharos." He whispered, he'll be fine.

I shook my face, trying to focus. When Hugo was upset or mad, he was best left alone. He would call me when he wanted to talk. Or would he? I couldn't have helped but thought, that in that moment I should have done something. I could have called him, gone after him. But I didn't. That was what I regret most.

"THE LAST SCENE, WE ALL KNOW IT PEOPLE!" Another workman yelled.

I knew it, but Nancy didn't seem to know. She looked at Christoph with puppy dog eyes for an answer. He huffed,

"It's on the script, the last scene where we...kiss?" He asked as though it was a question.

Nancy pouted, making her lips even bigger. I examined closer, and realized that they were WAY bigger than they were the day previous. It hit me, the bruised skin giving it away.

"Ampharos!" Fluffy exclaimed, Botox!

Nancy had gotten Botox for her already perfect lips. They weren't too noticeable, but there was definitely a difference. 

"Rosa!" Nancy yelled angrily. "You will have to take my part!"

I blinked. Me? Kiss Christoph?! For any girl in Unova, that would have been their dream come true, but for some reason, it made my heart lurch to the bottom of my stomach. I didn't want to. Nancy noticed how reluctant I was, and snickered. At least she knows he'll be hers. 

I reluctantly walked onto the set, sitting down on my throne. All I had to do was wait for him to walk in, covered in bruises and cuts, and run up to kiss him. That's all.

Fluffy sat down next to me, giggling to himself.

"What?" I asked him.

"Ampha ros ros ampha!" He laughed I thought your first kiss would be with Curtis, but instead with Christoph!

I could feel a shadow cross my face, and Fluffy laughed even harder.

"AMPHA ROS ROS!" He laughed hysterically, run away from the triggered princess!

I sighed, fixing up my dress. A familiar head popped up from behind my throne.

"Ya first kiss huh?" Jackie asked.

I swung around, giving Fluffy a mouthful of my hair, and gave Jackie a massive hug.

"I'm so sorry we haven't been able to hang out recently, I've been so busy and..."

Jackie put her a finger to her lips.

"It's a'right, I understand." She laughed, pointing at Fluffy who was stuck in a mess of my hair.

Fluffy gagged, and threw my hair back at me.

"AMPHAROS AMPHA ROS ROS AMPHA!" He yelled, I never want to mega evolve ever again if I have to deal with hair like that!

"At least you don't have to every day baldie!" I teased.

Fluffy pulled out a long brown wig from behind him, or wherever his endless supply of props come from, and pulled it onto his head.

"AMPHA!" He yelled in victory there!

The sound of a bell interrupted our conversation, signalling the filming about to begin.  

"Good luck!" Jackie wished, pulling off Fluffy's wig and taking it with her. 

Fluffy's eyes teared up as his hair floated away before him. As I watched Jackie as she walked away, I realized how much I had missed her.

I wriggled my way onto the fake throne, feeling the familiar feel of the soft pillow underneath me. 

"AND ROLLING!"

I sighed heavily and watched Christoph stagger onto the set. I lurched up, holding onto my throne. Leaving a few seconds of silence, I ran up to him, placing my hands on his shoulders. For a split second, I could feel him tense up, and his face go red, before he composed himself and placed his lips on mine. 

His lips were soft, and nothing like I had expected. It was just a small peck, before the cameras stopped rolling and all of the crew cheered, all of their hard work finally completed. But Christoph didn't pull away, both of us melted into the kiss. Before Nancy pulled him away, hugging him and congratulating him, all the while giving me harsh glare. But I didn't care. I wouldn't have to deal with her after the party, where we released the movie, famous actors and everyone that worked in Pokestar Studios would be coming to see the first screening. After it, I would probably never have to deal with her again.  

Probably.

Hopefully.

Fluffy leaped up on me, bringing me to the ground. I felt a small tear in the back of my tight corset. I was so glad I would never have to wear that dress again. 

"Ampharos!!" Fluffy sang, getting off of me Oooooohhhhh!!

I laughed, allowing him to help me up. It had been a nice first kiss. The first of many.

Curtis looked over his shoulder at me, looking into my eyes. I could feel a blush creeping up onto my cheeks. Fluffy slapped my arm.

"Ampharos ampha!" He excalimed, don't go cheating on Curtis.

I sighed. 

"Curtis isn't my boyfriend."

"Ampha?" But do you wish he was.

I felt the blush intensify. I did want Curtis to take me on a date. I did want him to be my boyfriend. He was so cute... But I...I had never had a boyfriend before...was I supposed to say something to him?! Whenever I talked to him, everyday on the xtransceiver, my stomach would fill with butterfly's and my stomach would wrench, my face reddened. 

I was tackled from behind again by another familiar face, tears streaking down it.

"That was beautiful!" Jackie teared up, wiping her eyes.

Jackie's a sucker for romance. She smiled as she pulled out her xtransceiver, showing me a picture of a dress. It had a black bodice, with thin black straps with intricate doily like patterns on the top. The skirt of the dress was a royal blue with layered ruffles, and more intricate patterns at the bottom. It was beautiful.

"Jackie it's amazing!"I exclaimed.

Jackie blushed. Argon came up from behind her and ruffled her hair. I could see Jackie slightly pink. I grinned.

"Jackie made it for you herself!" Argon stated with admiration, staring at the picture. "Every night when the staff met up for battles she would work on it. You really helped us out by the way." Argon said, smiling at me. 

I smiled back.

"I gotta fly, good luck!" Argon waved, walking off. 

I grinned at Jackie, who pretended to ignore me.

"I made it so you could wear it at the party. I thought maybe if the actress wore a piece of mine..." Jackie mumbled off.

"If I wear it, you might get recognized for your amazing talent. Of course I'm going to wear it!!" I laughed. "It's stunning! I couldn't imagine wearing anything else now!" 

Jackie smiled, giving me a hug. Once she pulled away, after talking for another half hour, Jackie received a call, and apologized for she had to run off, another sewing project to begin. 

I noticed I was one of the only people left. My xtransceiver began to ring, and I saw Curtis's number.

"Ampha." Fluffy said ask him out.

I gulped, pressing the answer call button.
