Magnus and Alec's Long Lost Daughter

XXI: Figuring It Out

Alyssa(Rosemary) and Hector were still waiting on Alec to get back, but nothing had ever opened that door. The only thing that was being shown was a golden, magic aura being shown that was known to be a ward. Magnus had put them up just in case if any demons thought about coming in, and so far there were no signs of them. 

Alyssa: Hector? 

Hector: Yeah? 

Alyssa: You think everyone is going to be okay? 

Hector: I hope so...

Hector and Alyssa(Rosemary) had hugged each other very tightly, and never wanting let go. 

Hector: Get some sleep, hopefully Alec will be back in the morning. 

Alyssa(Rosemary) smiled at Hector, and felt her going into a deep sleep but before she could do that she had one more thing to say. 

Alyssa: Goodnight. 

Hector: Night. 

Hector then closed his eyes, and he feel asleep on Alyssa's little head. Watching from afar, was Magnus just staring at the two best friends and even mumbling under his breath "They'd be perfect for Parabati someday." Seeing Hector and Alyssa(Rosemary) together made him think of someone....Someone that he lost many years ago...He went over to a small little hallway, and saw a door that was sealed, and it could only be activated by drawing a rune or with Warlock magic. He used his magic, traced the door, and it opened to a small room that once belonged to a small baby girl. 

Magnus: Oh Rosemary....I wish you were here....

When Magnus was about to sit on a rocking chair, until he heard a pound. It caught his attention, and ran all the way back to the living room where Alyssa(Rosemary) and Hector were sleeping. Again, it was a Shax Demon pounding on a window that was being protected by a ward and Hector and Alyssa(Rosemary) were awakened by the noises. 

Hector: How did they follow us here? 

Magnus: Alyssa, Hector go to my room and hide-

Magnus didn't get a chance to finish for the Shax Demon had managed to break in, but Magnus had used his magic to attack the Demon but then it got back up. 

Magnus: The hell...

When Magnus, Hector, and Alyssa(Rosemary) had taken a closer look at the creature and realized...that this was no Shax Demon at all. They didn't even know if it was demon it looked like an incomplete monster, or an experiment that had gone wrong. Magnus knew that his magic his simple, magic skills would do know good, but then he noticed that the monster was aiming for Hector and Alyssa(Rosemary) but he didn't have enough time to react because that monstrosity had lashed out, but then-

Alyssa: Prostatepste mas! 

Alyssa(Rosemary) used her magic to make a shield around them, and the mutant had stepped away. 

Magnus was shocked to see that someone, who is a Shadowhunter, that could do Warlock magic! Then the shield had faded, and Alyssa(Rosemary) couldn't keep it up so the unidentified creature saw this as an opportunity to attack again. When it tried to Hector had saw a sharp tool by Magnus' fire place, so he took it out as fast as he could and he stabbed the damn thing in its stomach making it screech in pain. He pulled the sharp tool away from the creature then once it was dead it's whole body started to glow, and go up in the air. The three of them was looking very close at what was happening, and all of a sudden the monster had split up into to bodies one that looked like a regular person, and another that looked like Warlock. They could tell it was one because horns where showing from it's head, and then the their remains had started to disappear. With the supposed mundane remain's going up in the sky, and the Warlock remains disappearing into Magnus' fire place. When both corpses were gone, all that remains was Hector, Alyssa(Rosemary), and Magnus all looking shocked from what just happened. 

Hector: What was that? 

Magnus: I have no idea...

Magnus had turned to Alyssa(Rosemary) who was just staring at the place where the horrific was gone, and then he kneeled towards her to ask her something. 

Magnus: Alyssa, how did you do that? 

Alyssa: Um...

Alyssa(Rosemary) had looked at Hector just trying to get an answer of what to do. All he did was just shrug his shoulders not knowing what to do either. All Alyssa(Rosemary) could do was just fess up, and tell Magnus what she is capable of. 

Alyssa: I have Warlock magic...

Magnus: Alec was right...

Alyssa/Hector: What? 

Magnus: It's a long story. 

A cell phone buzz came out of Magnus' phone, and he answered it. 

Magnus: Hello. 

Alec: Magnus? 

Magnus: Alexander, oh thank the angel you're alive. 

Alec: I'm okay. 

Magnus: I know I just thought that....I would lose you too. 

Alec: I know...

Magnus: Is everyone else okay? 

Alec: We're fine, but Magnus there's something you should know. 

Magnus: What? 

Alec: I don't think that was a Shax Demon that broke into the Institute. 

Magnus: Did happen to have split into to bodies when it dies from a weapon, and not magic? 

Alec: Yes, why? 

Magnus: Whatever that thing was it came here, and it managed to get through the wards. 

Alec: How? 

Magnus: Hector killed it, and it split into two bodies. I'm assuming it was a Warlock, that explains why it managed to get through the Wards, and a mundane...or a Shadowhunter. 

Alec: You're not the only one, every time Jace, Clary, Izzy, and I killed these things it kept splitting up into two bodies. 

Magnus: In all the years that I have lived, I have never seen anything like it. 

Alec: At this point, I don't think anyone has.
