Time had passed, and nothing had ever changed except for the growing rate of Verpletterd of course. Anytime when someone tried to follow them one of three things would happen, either one: They would lose sight of them even when they never took their eyes off them, two: They would perish, or three: They would disappear, and never be seen again. With a twelve year old Alyssa(Rosemary) and a fifteen year old Hector's life becoming dangerous Alec had no other choice, but to send the both of them to another Institute where they would be safe. On the other hand, Alyssa(Rosemary) and Hector didn't agree they wanted to stay, and help they couldn't bear to just sit there and watch there family put themselves through danger.
Alyssa: Alec, you can't do this!
Alec: Alyssa, you have to realize that I'm doing this for yours and Hector's safety.
Alyssa: But why can't we help?
Alec: I know it looks like you have went through enough training, but even for your age it's too dangerous.
Alyssa: But-
Alec: Enough is enough, last thing I need to know is that either you or Hector is dead.
Alec had walked away from Alyssa(Rosemary), and she never felt the exception of defeat before, She desperately wanted to know why Alec was being so overprotective of her and Hector, and the answer was in her eyes. As the past kept unwinding in her eyes she saw what she was seeing right now.
Izzy: You're not sending our little brother out into the field.
Alec: You know better than anyone how good Max is. The simulation scores are off the charts.
Izzy: That's a simulation I'm talking about the real world.
Alec: Max has already had his rune ceremony it's time for him to get orders just like we did when we were his age.
Izzy: It was different back the we weren't fighting Valentine.
Alec: Izzy-
Izzy: You weren't there that night with Kaylee, he came this close to dying.
Alec: Max is a soldier it's time we started treating him like one.
White had faded sending a confused, but shocked Alyssa(Rosemary) back to her timeline. Who was this Max? What happened to him? Did Alec know him? Was he trying to avoid her and Hector's death by not sending them into a suicide mission? She didn't know, and she sighed and went back to her room to get some rest. Alec told her that she and Hector would be leaving tomorrow to another Institute, but the only problem was she didn't know where she was going all she had to do was trust what Alec was going to do. She knew he had good intentions even thought he has an anger problem, but there was no argument there since she had that problem too.
