XXVI: Verpletted EVERYWHERE!

Maria: Your not bad with a sword.

Maria had twisted Alyssa's(Rosemary) weapon around with hers, and knocked it out of her grasp.

Maria: But you have to work on focusing.

She tried to strike Alyssa(Rosemary), but then Alyssa(Rosemary) had twirled around and hit Maria with her high-kick. When she turned to around to face Maria, she tried to punch Maria but her fist was grabbed with her strong hand.

Maria: Told y-

Alyssa(Rosemary) stepped on Maria's foot, she grunted, let go of her hand, and then was pushed to the ground by Alyssa(Rosemary). Quickly, she grabbed Maria's sword only to be knocked out of her grasp by Maria's foot, then she quickly got up, only defending herself with her bare knuckles. Then the two had resulted into a fist face, and it seemed a never ending fight. It was same thing for Dakota and Hector, but the difference here is that they still had their weapons in their hands. Hector was about to whack Dakota with his bow, but he missed and hit the training mat. Dakota used this opportunity to push Hector to the floor, grab her dagger, and pretend stab him in the neck. She almost succeeded, but when she tried to grab out her small knife Hector grabbed her hand fiercely, and knocked her off. Hector got up, grabbed Dakota's fallen knife, and tried to strike Dakota in the stomach. Thanks to Dakota's kick, she knocked the dagger out of Hector's hand making it fall to the ground. Dakota got up, punched Hector, but then Hector had slapped her across the face, and tried kicked her to the ground but failed. As the four friends were continuing, their training because Madame Mignard was standing in the doorway. Not to mention, she cleared her throat as a call for attention.

Maria: Madame Mignard, what is it that you need?

Madame Mignard: Well, I wanted to see the four of you, specifically, because I have a mission for you. Come with me, and quickly it's urgent.

All of them had followed Madame Mignard to her office, and made a screen showing the entire city of Paris. On the screen, it was showing a scatter of red dots mostly around one spot on a specific location.

Hector: What is this?

Madame Mignard: This is the whole entire map of the city, and all of these red dots represent Verpletted.

Maria: There's already Verpletted in here?

Madame Mignard: Apparently so, but the most suspicious thing so far is that most of them have been spotted here.

Madame Mignard had touched the location of where the most dots was showing, and it revealed to be a bar.

Alyssa: A bar?

Madame Mignard: Not just any bar, but a secret one and it appears that tonight the host, Remi Joguet, is throwing a party tonight and I need the four of you to go into that bar and see where the the Verpletted is being created.

Hector: I think we're going to have a problem with that.

Madame Mignard: Oh, and why is that?

Hector looks at everyone, and all the girls get the idea already.

All: We're underage.

Maria: Especially Dakota and Alyssa.

Dakota: I'm 13.

Alyssa: I'm 12.

Hector: I'm 15.

Maria: And I'm 15 too.

Madame Mignard: And?

Maria: How are on earth are we going to sneak into a bar?

Madame Mignard: Well, I knew I was going to tell you this whether you liked it, or not/

Dakota: Which is?

Madame: You see, Remi will allow underage people to come into his party with an exception.

Alyssa: What are you trying to say?

Madame Mignard: Monsieur Joguet, happens to be a womanizer.

All: What?

Maria: Of course.

Madame Mignard: I know that none of you will be comfortable with this, but all of you are Shadowhunters and you all need to grow up, and get this mission on with!

Clary was right, everything in the Paris Institute is precise.

Madame Mignard: Now, all of you will leave as soon as the sunsets, have I made myself clear?

Everyone had looked at each other, and there was no way they could say no to Madame Mignard's and her authority.

All: We'll do it.

Madame Mignard: Good, you may all leave and return to your daily training.

The four people had exited out of Madame Mignard's office, and they started heading back to the training room. Along they way, Alyssa(Rosemary) had brought up the subject of Madame Mignard and her strictness.

Alyssa: Is she serious about this?

Dakota: Take it from Maria and I, when it comes to missions, especially these ones, she doesn't joke around.
