XLVIII: Mission Impossible

Maria: It just doesn't make any sense of why would a sealie want you.

Dakota: I don't know either.

Dominique: Wait, there is a Sealie Court around here?

Hector: Yeah, why?

Dominique: I was thinking that maybe we could go there, and see what is that they want?

Dakota: Are you sure?

Dominique: They could give us the answers.

Alyssa: That is true, but it would give them an easy way to get Dakota and knock the rest of us out.

Maria: And there's no point in killing them, because of The Accords.

Hector: Not to mention that we have to get permission from Alec to go there.

Dakota: And from the looks of it, he's going to say 'I don't approve of this mission.'

Dominique: Unless if we sneak out?

Everyone looked at Dominique with pure and complete shock, just asking themselves if they heard her right or what has just gone into her.

Hector: Okay, who on earth are you and what have you done with the real Dominique?

Dominique: Guys, I'm serious, if we're going to find the answers of what we want to know we're going to have to take the risk.

Hector: You're serious?

Dominique: Yes, I am!

Alyssa: I don't know, what if we get caught? There will be too many of us going, and that kind of number would be suspicious enough for everyone to know that we are going somewhere and it's isn't going to be just any mission.

Dominique: Well, it really is up to Dakota?

Alyssa: So what do you say?

Everybody looks at her, just anticipating of the answer that was going to determine where this was going.

Dakota: I do want to know about why is all of this is happening.

That everyone knew it was the truth, but they still wanted her to press forward with yes or no.

Dakota: But I don't think that coming face to face with the Sealie Court would be the best idea.

Now that, everyone was shocked to hear.

Maria: Why?

Dakota: If we do, then this will make it even more worse than it actually is.

Dominique: So what do you propose we do?

Dakota: Maybe we can't bring ourselves to go to the Sealie Court, so will just have to bring the Court to us.

Dominique: Okay, Dakota, in English please.

Dakota: What I mean is, that we need to get that guard to capture me again but this time we catch him and then we'll get him to give us the answers.

Alyssa: And you're certain this will work?

Dakota: Let's just say that my plans never fail.

Maria: It's true, her plans somehow worked in ways I never expected it to be.

While everyone was nodding in agreement, Clary came rushing in to tell the children some news.

Alyssa: Clary, what's wrong?

Clary: Guys, I have some news.

Maria: What?

Clary: Kiana escaped from the City of Bones.

Dominique: How?

Clary: We're not sure, but some of the Silent Brothers were saying that she might have experimented on one of the prisoners, and she used it to get her way out. A couple of Silent Brothers were murdered, and that was it.

Clary looked at Dominique as if she didn't know what she was going to say to her.

Dominique: What?

Clary: Dominique, The Clave thinks that you're friend was the one that Kiana had experimented on to get Kiana out of there.

Dominique: What? No....

Hector: But how can they be certain?

Clary: When the Inquisitors were checking the gravity of the situation that happened, they only found Kiana and Mael's cell door open.

Dominique: No, it can't be true.

Clary: I'm sorry, Dominique.

Dominique broke down into a waterfall of tears, and Hector just went up to her and started to hug as tightly as he could. The rest of the girls were just shocked to see that the news was barely received to them, right now.

Alyssa: So what now?

Clary: That's the reason I came here, The Clave has asked you to go on a mission to arrest Kiana and repreman the monster that is out there before there is any danger being caused.

Alyssa: I'll deal with Kiana.

Dakota: What?

Alyssa: Since Kiana is out, she might as well just come for me and get me away from all of you as far as possible.

Hector: You're only going to make it worse by confronting her in person.

Alyssa: It's me that she wants, no any of you.

Maria: No, Hector is right, you can't go on that mission.

Dakota: It could be another trap that she has stored.

Clary: Then how about this; Dakota, Alyssa, and Maria you guys are going to go with Simon to go to the Iron Sister Citadel to check with the device that Simon found in Kiana's pocket. Hector and Dominique you guys are coming with me to find Kiana and capture her before it's too late.

Dominique: Then we better get a move on.
