Chapter[7]
(Daniel in MM)
Mm, Mm, Mm. This man looks so damn delicious.
Audrey continued to think more naughty thoughts that became dirtier by the second. Daniel was running beside her, his muscles and abs glistening in sweat from the sun. His pectoral muscles jumping gloriously which each bounce in his run. He was even making sweat look like delicious water against his smooth almond color skin.
This man belonged in a museum. He was that fine to look at.
Running side by side, Audrey done all she could to focus on her run around the grand park. Every time she thought about this alluring man beside her, her body became hot all over and it definitely wasn't from the heat of the sun. To focus her attention, she pressed the small button on her headphone to turn her music up. In her ears, Beyonce's voice resonated through her small ear buds and she couldn't help to feel a bit empowered. To her this woman spoke the truth about everything a woman could deal with in her life and turned it into a lesson into her songs, especially her recent singles.
With her attention back on the run, she didn't notice the small, quick glances Daniel seemed to steal to look at her. To him she was perfection. It didn't bother him at all that she was a writer, let alone in the genre of Erotica. Personally, he thought it was sexy and it only told him one thing; this curvaceous woman a very naughty girl. The thought of her laid across his bed, ass up was enough to get him excited and he definitely didn't need that tent growing in those thin shorts.
After five laps around the park, the pair decided to rest on on of the benches. Audrey had her arms up behind her lead while she looked to the sky to help cool herself down. Daniel had his towel that he kept tucked in the back of his shorts and wiped the buckets of sweat of his body.
Silence accompanied the two until Daniel felt it was necessary to break it, after all he wanted to know everything about this woman who he couldn't stop thinking about since they met in the elevator, of course he couldn't let her know that or anyone else for that matter. His girlfriend, Amanda, would kill him if she found out if he was even looking her way.
"What made you want to be a writer?" He asked leaning back into the bench.
Her eyes still to the sky she replied curtly, "I love sex."
Curious and with a smile on his face, "Oh?" This woman was something else.
"I love the act of it. I love the connection the two people have and the euphoric feeling one gets when the skin is being kissed and touch. It's almost like art if you think about it."
He was thinking about it. The way she saw sex was interesting. She was definitely someone to know.
He was ready to ask another question but before he could get it out, he heard the song of his ringtone for Amanda.
Forever My Lady.
He silently cursed under his breath and dung into his pocket. She would call at the most inconvient time. Lately she had been all over his ass asking if he been cheating on her. It was all that nagging and accusations that drove him to insanity and possibly away.
"Hello?"
Audrey didn't turn her head. She was actually slightly irritated. She wasn't no ones fool. She knew that ringtone was a girlfriend/wife. She was letting herself believe that a man like him was single.
It was always too good to be true. This was why she would rather fuck 'em than love 'em.
She still sat and waited till his conversation continued lasting no more than five minutes.
"Yeah, bye."
Daniel sighed heavily, this woman was going to be the cause of his untimely demise, but he had to go.
Unfortunately.
"Hey-,"
"You have to go?"
She peeked at him and for a second he felt like she knew.
He laughed it off and rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, I'm sorry. But we could do this again." He shyly smiled. "Tomorrow?"
Audrey looked at her Michael Kors watch. "I'll let you know?"
he nodded his head. He didn't blame her. If he was in her shoes he would feel the same way.
He stood to his feet without further words and made his way back to the apartment building across the street. Out of sight, Audrey exhaled and and placed her head between her legs. She was sure she found a good single man. But this only told her even those were taken.
Mood ruined she also made her way back to her apartment. Once inside she placed her keys on the mantle beside the front door, un-strapped her iPod and placed it there also and began her stripping process. Leaving a trail of clothes all the way to the bathroom, she took herself a nice warm shower.
She stepped out lotioned her body and checked her phone.
5 missed calls.
Scrolling through the log, she rolled her eyes when she seen that Naomi had called that many times. She had half a mind to put her phone back down but she realized she just wasn't that type of person.
Calling her back, "Hello?"
"You called?" Audrey replied take a seat on the edge of her bed. she grabbed the white robe that laid across the bed and placed it on her body.
"Yeah girl, I just wanted to apologize for my attitude this morning. It was no need for me to come at you like that for something that I wanted to do."
Audrey nodded her head. She agreed a hundred percent. "You going through it and I understand."
"But that's just it, I still want to do it."
"What you do with your marriage is your business.""I understand. Forgive me?"
Audrey loved her friend despite her quirks. "Of course."
Naomi sighed in relief. "Good. I'll talk you later?"
"Cool, bye sweetie."
Audrey hung up the phone and began getting dressed. She wanted to get out the house and make a date with Cole. She missed her fictional boo and couldn't wait to write about him, so she made her way to Starbucks with her laptop I. her bag and keys ready to go.
