Chapter 12
“Corey! Wake the fuck up you dirty ass bastard!” Sarah cried from the other side of the room. She was beyond pissed at the fact that her husband of four years had the audacity to come into the house at two o’clock in the morning. She was getting tired of his sneaking around shit. It was until recently that she found him creeping in all hours of the night and lying about his work schedule. She loved this man ever since she first walked through his office as one of the secretaries but couldn’t understand why he was doing the shit that he was.
Back then, he was the highlight of her day and the man of her dreams but now, the man lying across the bed still fully dressed and mouth hanging open, was a man she did not recognize and unfortunately through all his shenanigans loved.
She took three long strides to reach the bed and with all the strength she had in her petite body to smack the back of his head.
That seemed to work because Corey bolted up so fast ready to swing it almost gave him whiplash. He turned to face his wife with a scowl matching her own.
“The fuck did you just hit me for Sarah!” He yelled. Any other time, his booming voice would have reduced poor Sarah into a small mouse, but this time she was fed up. She knew where he was and what he was doing last night and she was debating if she needed this to be the last straw.
Her arms flared up in rage, her face turning beat red. A shade, Corey once thought was the most beautiful color he had ever seen on a white woman. “Because, Corey, your dumbass decided to come into the house all hours of the night. Don’t think for a second I don’t know where you’ve been either.” She crossed her arms across her small, but perky chest and turned her face so that he wouldn’t dare see her cry. She hated showing any kind of weakness in front of him. She wanted him to take her seriously, particularly in this instance. She unfolded her arms and let out a huge breath of air and flipped her golden blond hair behind her shoulder.
“Sarah, I don’t know what the hell you talking about. I told you before I left that I was gonna hang out with the boys!” He said desperately trying to defend himself. Corey couldn’t even count on his hands how many times he used his friends as an alibi to cover up his infidelity. It was to the point now where they would even cover for him and he didn’t even have to ask. He was also almost positive that she didn’t believe any of them but it would be a cold day in hell before he admitted it to his wife. He was going to take his infidelity to the grave especially since he was the bread winner of the household. If they were to split, she would have taken three-fourths of his shares and he was never going to let that happen.
Sarah scoffed at his lie and wanted to slap the shit out of him. Just because she was white didn’t mean she was anybody’s fool. She was a very smart girl, with bachelors in Science of Business with a minor in management development. She was beauty and brains despite the white, bond stereotype.
“I’m not dumb Corey; honestly you need to get your shit together before this ends very, very badly.” She warned. She couldn’t even stand the site of the man Corey had become. Once before, she loved the rich milk chocolate of his skin and the cute little dimple in his right cheek whenever he smiled. Those big brown eyes, the color of chestnut would root her to her spot as if she was being hypnotized. And she wouldn’t even get started on his perfect, chiseled physique. Corey was what the type of man she would have wet dreams about and would do just about anything to have.
But she came to strongly believe in the old saying: Be careful what you wish for.
Corey didn’t even waste anymore of his breath trying to defend himself. It would just end in a fifteen minute yelling match and him walking out the door to God knows where. He nodded his head and laid back on the bed returning back to sleep. His wife being mad was nothing of the norm and she would be bouncing on his dick before the day was over. It was something he sometimes looked forward too but not what he expected. Her bedroom game was off and not like anything it once was four years ago. She was everything a man would say about a white girl. They would literally do anything and that was a huge turn on for Corey. But it seemed once he had gotten married, all of the sexual drive within their relationship blew out like a fire on a candle. Now it was the same ol’ routine of missionary, no head and a five second nut.
