You and Daniel were currently sitting on a hill, in the middle of nowhere. Daniel had called you at 2am and asked if you wanted to go on an adventure. You being the crazy person you are agreed which ended you up on a hill in the middle of nowhere. Since Daniel had gotten back from tour last week you had barely seen him so you took this opportunity when it presented itself.
You lowered your back down on the grass with Daniel reflecting your moves, moving in closer to you. You intertwined your fingers together and looked up at the beautiful sky. Plenty of stars were decorating the sky tonight. You didn't know what you liked so much about a little circle of light, but it just made you happy looking at it.
Both of you didn't speak for a while, enjoying the silence. These were the moments that you most cherished. You felt Daniels gaze on you, you decide to ignore it for a minutes but soon you turned your head to look at him, only to find him still looking at you.
"What?" you asked
"Nothing," he replied, still keeping his eyes on you.
"Daniel," I said. "Look at the goddamn stars."
He shook his head and a small smile appeared on his lips. "You're way more beautiful than the stars."
You rolled my eyes and laughed softly, "Okay, Daniel, that's funny. But seriously, look at them. They're so beautiful."
"I'm not joking, Y/N. You are so beautiful."
You smiled and shook my head. He dropped your hand and turned his body so he was standing over you, supporting himself on his arms. He leaned in and kissed you softly, your lips barely touching.
"I'm so lucky to have you," he whispered. "So, so, so lucky."
You smiled an honest smile this time and lifted your hand to his hair so you could replace a strand of hair with my fingers.
"When did you get so cheesy?" You giggled.
"Ever since I had you in my life" Daniel said looking at you.
He slowly rolled over to lay next to you again talking about the funny stories that happened on tour. As the night grew darker, the cold air finally got to you, regretting your decision to not wear a jacket. You snuggle into his chest even more trying to embrace the warmth of his skin. Daniel noticed and sat up which made you sit up too. He shrugged off his jacket and placed it on your shoulder.
Soon enough both of you got tired, Daniel let out a yawn.
"Come on Danny Boy time for you to go to bed" you said
Both of you hopped in your car, Daniel trying to stay awake to keep you company. You soon got to your apartment, both of you quickly changing into your pyjamas. Both of you jumped into you warm bed. Daniel kissed your forehead.
"Night babe, I love you so much that even words can't express." Daniel whispered.
He put an arm around my waist and his head was in the crook of your neck.
" I love you to, Daniel "
You fell asleep thinking how lucky you were having Daniel but what you didn't know was that Daniel was thinking the same thing.
