I woke up with a dry mouth. Since I had never gotten the drink the previous night and it had been tipped over me instead, I was now in desperate need of a drink. I opened my eyes to see kitty sleeping soundly, and with his arm draped over me. I couldn’t help but smile. Is that weird?
Anyway, I gently lifted his hand off of my side, laid it on the bed, and then tiptoed out of his bed. I neglected to look at the clock, but noticed that Kyung was gone. As soon as I got out of the bed, I noticed just how hot it was! It was weird that it was hotter out of the duvet, but logic has no place in a newly woken mind. Without really thinking about it, I took my jogging bottoms off and tucked them under kitty’s bed, feeling the cool air hit them immediately. I didn’t regret it.
I slowly creaked the door open, trying hard not to wake kitty. I got the door open, then pushed it to as I tip-toed out. I headed straight for the kitchen which was practically adjacent to the room I had just escaped from, and saw not one, not two, but all free six members of Block B in the kitchen area, standing casually drinking coffee.
I stopped dead in my tracks, assessing just how guilty I looked – tiptoeing out of kitty’s bedroom, lacking any joggers, and in his t-shirt.
“Good night?” Zico asked me, and then flinched his arm backwards and received a high five from Jaehyo.
“It’s not at all what it looks like!”
“Oh really?” Pyo asked in a joking tone, “Kyung, what did they look like this morning?”
“They looked cute. All cuddled up together in Yukwon’s bed.”
“Okay, I see how that would look incriminating. But I swear, all we did was sleep!”
“Good morning boys,” Yukwon said casually as he came strolling out of his bedroom with bed head. He headed for the fridge, grabbed two cokes, and underhanded one to me.
“Where did you disappear to this morning, chicken?” he asked me as if his band members weren’t all around, sending looks to one another.
“Apparently to my morning assessment.”
“Guys, lay off, all we did was sleep together.”
“I knew it!” Taeil suddenly shouted, and most of the boys high fived or laughed loudly.
I stared wide eyed at kitty, and then he clicked.
“Wait, no! Not like that! I meant that we slept next to each other!” he suddenly shouted in our defence. I put my hands over my face, hitting the coke can on my head as I did so.
“It’s really Park Kyung’s fault for being such a light sleeper!” I weighed in.
“There’s a completely innocent story to it all, I swear!”
“Okay. Do tell, chicken,” B-Bomb said with a laugh, and everyone laughed at him.
“Hey!” kitty stepped in. “Only I get to call her that!” he argued.
“Aww, cute pet names. Is hers for you kitty?”
“Maybe,” I mumbled. Just then I heard my phone playing it’s ringtone in the living room, so I ran through and answered it.
“Hello?”
“Yo yo biatch,” Shannon said from the other end. I relaxed. “How are you?”
“Fine, just getting interrogated.”
“Why? What did you do, pee in the sink?”
“No, I slept in Yukwon’s bed lastnight.”
“What’s so wrong with that?”
