That night, Shannon was out of game ideas.
“I-I don’t have anything in mind!” she stammered.
“Okay, google something. Just find something, it’s your last night!”
“Fine, fine. Ooh, how about we play ‘I never’?”
“Sounds great,” I lied. I wanted to be with kitty, but I wasn’t going to see Shannon for a long time. The least I could do is spend the last night with her, playing games that I detest.

“I never flashed a guy,” Shannon said first, and Megan took a drink.
“I never tried picking someone up at a bar,” I said next, and only three of the boys drunk, and Tracy.
“I never kissed someone of the same sex,” Kyung said next, and quite a few people took a drink, purely because of the game lastnight.
Things got nasty very quickly after that, as Tracy had been drinking before the game even started.
“I never got cheated on,” Tracy said next, staring at me and cocking her head. I frowned at her in surprise, then slowly took a big gulp of my wine.
“Uh, I never threw a tantrum over losing a game,” Zico said next, trying to change the subject. Kitty took a sip of his drink, hanging his head with a smile.
“I never moved countries instead of dealing with my problems.”
I stared at Tracy angrily, but took a drink anyway. I downed the rest of the glass, then poured myself another one.
“I never smoked,” Shannon said next, nodding to herself like she’d found a good suggestion. Everyone else in the circle took a drink, meaning Shannon was the only one who had never smoked.
“I never lied about a relationship,” Tracy said next, staring at me again. I stared her right in the eyes, smiled smugly to myself, then took a drink. Kitty also took one, but so did three other boys, so nobody noticed. Except Tracy. “So, Jessika, who did you lie about? Or who are you still lying about?”
“That’s not part of the game, Tracy.”
“I don’t care.”
“Tracy,” Shannon cut in, “I think you’ve had a little too much wine. Maybe you should go to bed?”
“Screw that, I’m having fun,” she said acidly.
“Well no-one else is when you’re off your face. Go lay down.”
“What if I can’t sleep? Maybe I need a cuddle?” she said innocently, then turned her head quickly and looked directly at kitty.
“Tell you what,” Shannon said angrily, hauling Tracy up. “If you can’t sleep, I’ll knock you out. How’s that?” Shannon dragged Tracy out of the room despite her protests, then took her somewhere in the other side of the house.
“Are you okay, Jessie?” Megan asked me, coming over to me. I got up and stormed off in the opposite direction, leaving everyone there. I went straight into kitty’s room, but laid on his bed with my head face down in the pillow.
After about two minutes, there was a knock at the door.
“Jessika?” Kyung said quietly, opening the door slowly.
“Hi,” I choked out.
“Are you okay?”
“No, do I look it?” I snapped, then felt bad about it. “Sorry.”
“It’s fine. What was with your friend tonight?”
“She’s a total bitch when she drinks. She just picks on whoever she can.”
“What was she saying about not dealing with problems?”
“Don’t read too much into it, Kyung. It’s safer for you.”
“Safer?”
“I don’t like talking about it. Hence, safer on your behalf. I’m sorry for snapping, but I’m really not in the mood to talk.”
“Okay. Well I’m here if you need me, I’m going to be right here in this bed.”
He laid down in his bed, closed his eyes, and was asleep within minutes.
I followed him, falling asleep very soon. And without kitty.

I woke up the next morning alone. I rolled over onto an empty space, confirming that kitty had already left. With the house to myself, and no-one needing me at the studio, I decided that I could just stay at the house for the day.
Just then, Shannon walked in casually, carrying two cups of coffee.
“Oh good, you’re awake! That will save me throwing this all over you. Now, are you going to get out of bed any time today?”
“No.”
“Okay, I thought as much. Maybe we can have a girly day?”
“Cool,” I said absentmindedly. “How much money do you have?”
“I think about a thousand Wons lefts, why?”
“Just wondering. That’s a lot!”
“I know, my dad gave me some money, and he has yet to check his bank card statement,” she laughed.
“Poor, poor soul.” I shook my head sadly, then took my coffee from Shannon. “So what did you have in mind for today then?”
“Oh I don’t know, but maybe we could just spend a day with us two?”
“Sounds cool. Does that mean that Tracey and Megan went with the boys?”
“Yes. And I know what you’re thinking, your precious kitty won’t look twice at Tracey. She’s just an obsessed fan is all.”
“I sure hope so.”

That day, Shannon and I spent the day giving each other facials with what we could find in the kitchen, we prank called people in England using Shannon’s credit, and we did some role-playing (yes I know it’s childish but who cares?). I was someone backpacking across the mountains with all my stuff on my back, only for it to fall down a cavern and for me to lose it all. It was a loose interpretation of what had happened to me when I got to Seoul.
“Oh no, Jessika, let me help you!” Shannon called dramatically. She was laying on the sofa on her belly, and I was on the floor pretending to be hanging onto the ‘cliff’ for dear life.
“Hurry, dear Shannon!” I called back. Then my phone buzzed in my pocket, and I moved to answer the call.
“Well you just fell and plummeted to your death!”
“Sorry,” I laughed, then answered my phone.
“Hello?”
“Hiya chicken,” Yukwon said from the other end of the phone, bringing a smile onto my face.
“What’s up?”
“Nothing, just letting you know that we’re almost done filming. Just got a few of Zico’s parts to do, and then we’re coming back. And then we can be open to the boys, okay?”
“Sounds perfect,” I smiled. “I’ll see you later then, kitty.”
“Yeah. I love you.”
“I love you too.” I hung up the phone with a smile on my face, then flicked through my contacts. At some point, he had saved his number onto my phone, putting a heart and winky face at the end of his screen name. There was even a derp picture saved as his photo. I laughed and tucked away my phone.
“That was unbelievably cheesy,” Shannon said to me, shaking her head.
“I know,” I beamed.
