Kitty carried on kissing me, varying the pressures to get my heart racing. He was straddling me, with me on my back on his bed. I don’t know how long we had been like that, but it was late enough for everyone to retire to bed.

Including one Park Kyung.

We both heard him coming down the hall, and then I remembered that I was supposed to be sleeping in the living room with my friends. I buttoned my dress back up, straightened my hair, adjusted my makeup as much as I could without a mirror, then left kitty’s room. I met Kyung in the doorway.

“Kyung,” I nodded at him, then whipped past him and into the living room. I slumped down onto the sofa, seeing Shannon and the other girls not move. They were utterly taken up in their conversations, and all I caught was Shannon whispering about Jaehyo.

I did get to sleep that night, but it wasn’t nice. And I woke up twice in the early hours of the morning, because of shivers. I’ve always been a light sleeper, so I found it hard to get back to sleep after that. And I gave up.

When I finally awoke at the hour of five, in stupid o’clock, I picked up my blanket in distress and trudged through to kitty’s room. I felt a little stupid in the pyjamas that Shannon had bought me, because they were grey and black with hello kitty on them. Luckily, Zico hadn’t seen them yet. Otherwise he would have robbed them off me. I did the same as I had the other night – I tucked myself into his duvet next to him.

“Couldn’t sleep?”

“Holy C—!” I shouted, but he out his finger over my mouth to shush me from behind. “You scared the living hell out of me!” I whispered to him loudly.

“That was the point,” he laughed.

“I kept waking up. What’s your excuse?”

“You, snuggling into my bed covers,” he said with a smile, and I could hear it in his voice despite not being able to see his face.

“Fair enough. You help me sleep, anyway. Is that weird?”

“Of course not, chicken. I know what you mean.”

“Atleast you dropped off.”

“Only because I have a comfy bed and you have a sofa,” he said with a hint of amusement in his voice.

“Are you hinting?”

“Of course not. I’m just saying that if you were to prefer sleeping in a bed, I would be happy to loan mine out to you, as long as I get one side.”

“Deal.”

“Good, now go to sleep, or you’ll wake up Park Kyung, and boy is he grumpy when he wakes up before nine.”

“Yes sir,” I giggled. I rolled over to face him, then slid down the bed and snuggled into his chest. He placed a kiss on the top of my head, and I felt his arm loop around my chest to my back. I did the same to him.

And then sleep took me.

When I woke up the next morning, kitty was gone. I know because when I rolled over, I was greeted with an empty bed. On the plus side, more bed sheets for me. I rolled over a few times and engulfed myself in the sheets, staying on his side of the bed. I also sort of slumped into the groove he had made. It could be misconstrued as creepy, but regardless, I breathed in his scent on his pillow.

“Smell good?” a voice asked from the doorway. It wasn’t kitty though, it was Shannon.

I looked over at her and groaned. “What are you doing in here?”
