16 - Love

Lillie POV
I get off the stage and people clap. I walk over to Brax. He smiled the whole time.
"That was scary" I laugh nervously.
"It was amazing, the best birthday present I have ever gotten. Thank you Lil" he smiles.
I wrap my arms around him and hug him tightly. I then step back, holding his hand.
"I love Nick, and even when he has done stupid things or said bad stuff in the past. I would try my hardest to hate him and be mad but I still loved him. You have to be with the person you love" I declare.
He looks at me shocked.
"Be with the person you love Brax, go get her back" I state.
"Lillie...thank you" he says shocked.
"Go"
He nods happily and thanks everyone for the party then rushes out.
"Where is he going?" Case questions.
"You can't go home tonight, go to Denny's" I instruct.
"What?" he laughs.
"Just do it!" I demand laughing, Nick comes over and wraps his arms around my waist.
We say goodbye as everyone leaves, now it's just me, Nick, Heath, Bianca, Casey, Denny and Darcey.
"Daddy can I have another slice of cake? Please!" Darcey begs as Bianca holds her in her lap.
"No, we have to get you to bed missy" Bianca sighs.
Darcey groans and crosses her arms.
"But I'm a big girl I can stay with everyone here"
"Hey, actually, so you guys mind giving me a minute with Case and Lil?" Heath asks, Bianca nodding to him.
"Dad" Darcey groans.
"Come on Darce! We can go get an ice cream" Denny smiles.
"Yeah, I'll pay, you can have as many as you like" Nick adds.
"Yay!" Darcey screams rushing out.
"Thanks for that mate" Heath scoffs laughing.
Nick chuckles and then it is just me Case and Heath left at the table.
"So, I got an announcement" he sighs nervously.
"Brax isn't going to be happy he's hearing of this last" Case notes.
"He already knows mate" Heath responds.
"Wow, this is serious then. I mean if you already went to Brax separately, it's serious" I state.
Heath nods.
"It's not a bad thing, it's good. Look, me and Bianca, were happy, we have everything. She's pregnant" he smiles.
"That's great Heath!" I cheer.
"So, with the new baby coming. We want a new life, an own house to ourself, drama free where the kids and Bianca can be safe. So, we're moving to Melbourne" he announces.
That is not what I was expecting.
"Bianca has a teaching job as a principal waiting for her over there and I've got one doing co-management at a gym. It's great!"
"Except you're leaving" Casey scoffs, "When are you going?"
"Tomorrow afternoon"
"Thanks for telling us before you left!" Casey gets up and walks off mad, Heath calling after him.
"It's okay Heath, he'll be fine" I assure him.
"Yeah, you know I am going to miss you guys"
"I know. Heath, it's sad but I'm happy for you! Don't let leaving bring you down. You're starting a new life, with a beautiful family. I'm so proud, I can't wait to have another niece or nephew!" I smile.
"Yeah! Me too! Thanks Lil, I love you"
"Love you too Heath" I say sadly, looking st him, he's leaving.
"Brax is with Ricky isn't he?"
I've seen him everyday of my life, to think of him leaving is, it's heartbreaking. But it's for his life to be amazing, and that makes me happy. We get up and I wrap my arms around him, hugging him tight.
"Lets go find the others, Darcey is probably in her fourth ice cream by now" I laugh.
"Oh god" Heath sighs and I laugh even louder, both of us walking out together holding each others hips.
"So Brax and Ricky huh?" he says as we walk to the diner.
"How do you know?" I gasp turning to him.
"I walked in on them back when you were in the hospital"
"Oh my god, he is a sneaky dog" I laugh. 
"We all knew it was going to happen at the start, we can't just change our minds because she did a couple of really bad things, it was Adam"
"Exactly what I said" I smile.
"It's good to see you so happy Lil, you deserve it"
"Promise me you'll come back to see me graduate? And pay for my flights to come up and see the new baby?"
"Of course Lil! Don't worry, we'll see each other a lot I promise"
"Just not everyday" I sigh sadly.
"Yeah, not everyday" he nods.
He kisses my forehead as we walk into the diner and to my surprise, see Casey with Nick laughing. He stands up and walks over to Heath.
"Congrats bro" he says.
"Thanks" Heath smiles relieved and then they both hug.
I go over to Nick and sit in his lap, leaning against his chest, rest my head on his shoulders. He wraps his arms around my waist and we all laugh as Heath steals Darcey's ice cream cone taking a big bite.

Nick and I get into his room and both immediately get into bed.
"Wow, Heath leaving, that's going to be different. Are you okay with it?"
"I mean, yeah, it's obviously sad but it's all good. I mean it makes me so happy seeing him happy. Speaking of happy, what about Brax and Ricky?" I gasp.
"Yeah, woah didn't really see that but also totally saw that happening" he chuckles.
"Are you okay with it? I mean after everything she's caused?"
"Yeah, I mean it was Adam forcing her and she clearly felt bad about everything. She's a good chick" he nods.
"You are too"
"What a good chick?" he shouts laughing.
"No! A good person! You're such a good" I laugh, wrapping my arms around his waist.
"Hey, wait, I have a birthday present for you. I got it yesterday. Wait here" he states, getting up and walking into his bathroom.
He walks back out, holding a guitar with a bow on it. I gasp and my hands go to my mouth shocked.
"You can't hire a keyboard every time you want to sing, now can you?" he notes, "Do you like it?"
"Like it? God, Nick I love it!" I shout, getting up and kissing him passionately.
I hold the keyboard, it's beautiful, definitely one of the good expensive types. I can't believe he brought this.
"Sing a song for me? Please"
I nod and he rushes over, sitting down in the bed. I take a deep breath and begin to sing, Lilly Allen 'Somewhere Only We Know'.
