“Don’t worry about it. It’ll be something for her.” Harry looked at me with a completely blank expression and I didn’t know why. The car kept moving and we all sat in silence, each of them occasionally looking at me. I knew I would have to give them an explanation tonight whether they asked me or not. I knew they were wondering but just didn’t have the heart to question me.

“Where are we going Harry?” Louis asked breaking the silence. “I don’t know.” He replied plainly. “What do you mean you don’t know?” I asked. He shrugged his shoulders and turned away from the both of us. I started to feel nervous and anxiously looked outside the window to try to gain my bearings as to where we were and where we were going. Harry pulled out his phone and typed up a very long message before sending it to an unknown person. The limo came to a stop and the bodyguard stepped out of the front seat and opened the door for us to get out. Louis got out first then offered me his hand for assistance. I stepped out into the cool air and noticed that we were once again at Lake Michigan. “Won’t people recognize you guys here?” I asked as I began to feel very cold. “I made some arrangements and we’ll be over there in that blocked off area. No one will see us” “I don’t like beaches…” Zayn muttered to himself. Just as Liam stepped out, he ran down the steps into the sand. “LIAM!” Harry yelled after he was too far away to hear.

Liam kept running away then stopped just inches away from the water and stood staring out at the night sky. We all caught up to him a few moments later and stood in a line next to him. “It’s beautiful isn’t it?” he whispered to himself. We stood there gazing at the stars for what seemed like hours just enjoying the sound of the waves crashing in and the beautiful natural light that the stars and moon provided. I began to shiver as the cold air hit my bare back and legs. Goose bumps arose all over my body and I crossed my arms trying to retain whatever body heat I still had. “Mea? Mea! You must be freezing! Where’s the jacket you had?” Niall asked while moving closer to me. “I l-left it in t-the c-c-car” I said shivering uncontrollably. “Come here love” he said while opening his arms wide. I walked up to him and he held me close to him making sure his arms covered the majority of my back and neck. I nuzzled my face into his chest as I was desperate to feel any heat.

“There’s a fire pit over there in the area I had blocked off. I can run and get some wood.” Harry said as he started heading for the stairs leading back up to the street. “I’ll get her a coat! Louis yelled as he started walking the same path as Harry. “You d-don’t h-have t-t-to Louis. I’m f-fine.” I said as my teeth chattered making it hard for me to speak clearly. “You are shaking like a leaf Mea! I promise I’ll be right back. SUPERMAN, TO THE RESCUE!!!” He turned away again and kept jogging towards the street. “I g-guess it’s j-just the f-f-four of us then” I said as I looked up at Liam and Zayn who were standing beside me awkwardly. “Well, actually, we have to…” “What?” Zayn asked giving Liam a confused look. Liam covered Zayn’s mouth and held him in a loose chokehold as he began backing away from Niall and I. “WE have to go um…buy…a llama. Lots and lots of llamas! We’ll see you guys later!” he said as he forcefully dragged Zayn towards the stairs. “I don’t even like llamas Liam!” Zayn yelled as Liam let him go at the foot of the stairs.

Niall and I stood there with his large arms wrapped around my body watching the two boys walk away to go buy whatever it is that they “needed”. “Do you want to go inside the gate to the area Harry got?” Niall whispered into my hair. “Uh, yeah. S-sure.” I answered hesitantly. I’ve never been good with one on one conversation and now I was about to have one with a celebrity who nonchalantly was holding me to his body. This could get interesting. The bodyguard from earlier opened the wooden gate to reveal a small area filled with pillows, blankets, and a small fire pit. Niall guided me inside with his arms still wrapped around me and sat me down next to him on a large, soft blanket. “Are you alright Mea?” He asked as he loosened his grip and turned to face me. “Yeah, I think I’m alright now. Thank you.” I muttered as I kept my eyes on the sand. “It’s no problem.” He said smiling. He got up, grabbed another nearby blanket, and kneeled down to wrap it around my shoulders. “You don’t have to do all this for me, you know.” “Are you always this defensive?” He said chuckling to himself. “Everything I’ve done so far was because I wanted to. You don’t have to thank me for doing what I want.”
