-Louis' POV-

"That's yours mate." Harry said. I put my burger down and picked up my phone to read Niall's message.

"Oh..." I said under my breath.

"What's happened?" Harry said with a mouth full of food.

"It's Mea." I didn't want to tell him like this. He still didn't seem okay from last night.

"Ah....Well what's happened to her?" He asked softly.

"She's moving...with us..." His mood immediately changed.

"WHAT?!" He stood up and started rummaging through his suitcase.

"What are you doing?" I asked as I approached him.

"Did you know about this?!" he yelled.

"I didn't know anything until just now." He stormed into the hotel bathroom and slammed the heavy door.

"What's going on mate?" I asked through the door.

"He can't do this! He didn't even ask all of us what we thought about it! How is she just going to come along? Did anyone ask Paul?"

"He said I should talk to Paul." I said with a flat tone.

"Well how about I go talk to Paul and tell him Niall's lost his fucking mind!"

"No, you're going chill out." I tried to open the door but he had locked it behind him.

"Look, I'm surprised too. However, I don't think it's our place to interfere with him. He's happy with her. He likes taking care of her. If anything, he's just keeping her around so he can watch her. You know how Niall is...I think we should just leave the situation alone."

"She's going to fuck up everything around here." Harry said opening the door, fully dressed.

"Just give her a chance."

-Mea's POV-

I slouched against the wall as they finished packing up what was left of my bedroom. The whole situation didn't seem real; everything was moving uncomfortably fast. I grabbed the only sweater they hadn't packed away and walked out to my balcony.

"Mea? Where'd she go?" I could hear Niall looking for me but I decided to remain hidden. I desperately needed some air and time to think on my own. I heard him yelling my name louder and opening all the doors in my apartment searching for me. I heard the patio door open swiftly behind me and it startled me.

"MEA! WHY DIDN'T YOU ANSWER ME? You should answer when I call you." He said intensely through gritted teeth. He was very angry...angrier than I had ever seen him before. It reminded me slightly of my first encounter with Harry.

"I...I'm sorry I yelled...but why are you out here by yourself?" He stood beside me, looking out at the skyline. He noticeably calmed down.

"I needed some time to think." I faked a smile.

"You aren't very good at faking smiles babe." I looked up at him and his face was completely serious.

"I'm just having second thoughts, that's all. I second guess myself with everything though, don't take it personally." He inched closer to me and grabbed my hand, locking my fingers with his. "You know what helps me?" He whispered. "I look up at the stars and know that everyone I love is looking up at the same sky. I don't know...It makes them feel not so far away; makes the world seem like a much smaller place." We both stood in a comfortable silence as I absorbed what he said. "I just want you to be safe...and you will be...with me. You'll be safe with me Mea. I promise."

All I could mutter was "Okay." as his thumb rubbed small circles into the back of my hand.

"If you ever need anything, you tell one of us, alright? Well tell me first but...you get the idea." We both laughed lightly.

"I'll stay out of your way and try to avoid getting homesick. How about that?" I said as I cracked a nervous smile.

"You'll never be in my way." He kissed the top of my head.

"I've never heard someone use so many corny lines in one night in my life!" I laughed but his loud, hearty laughter drowned mine out completely.

"I like your laugh." I turned and smiled up at him. "I like your face!" He smiled his wide, bright smile.

Through the patio door, I could see Liam and Zayn running and sliding across my apartment on their socks. My walls and floors were completely bare, the only thing left being my couch, lounge chair, and coffee table.

"Hey, where'd the rest of it go?" I asked.

"It's all down in the lobby. The movers are starting to put it in the truuuuuck!" Liam said as he ran and bumped into Zayn.

"What movers come at 3 am?!" I exclaimed.

"Good ones!" Zayn said.

"Shhhh! You'll wake the whole floor up!" Niall said, laughing to himself.

"I'm starving lads. When can we get some food?" Liams stomach growled loudly.

"C'mon." I said as I let go of Niall's hand. "Where are you going?" Niall said authoritatively.

"I'm going to go get some food. Why, do I not have your permission to leave King Niall?"I laughed as I put my shoes on and grabbed my purse.

"Liam can come with me." I said as I began to turn the door knob.

"I think Zayn should go with you...he uh...knows what we like and don't like." Niall said, crossing his arms.

"Okaaayyy..." I said, cracking a smile. "Let's go!"

Zayn followed me in silence out to the parking garage. Why was Niall acting so weird..? I unlocked the doors and the both of us slumped into the front seats.

"Hey uh..." I paused as I tried to get my thoughts together. "What was that all about?" I lifted my head to look at Zayn.

"Do you really want to know?" he said, chuckling to himself.

"Well, yeah." I pulled out onto the completely empty, dark street.

"He doesn't like competition." Zayn said. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, he walked in and you two were playing on top of each other. He's a nice guy, he really is, but he's very possessive. Worse than Harry even."

"We aren't even a thing! The most he's done is hold my hand and kiss my head. Wait, what do you mean 'worse than Harry'?"

"Let's just say, it would be in your best interest not to cross him. Either of them actually."

I shivered as I remembered how Harry acted yesterday. We drove the rest of the way to the nearest Subway in silence.

"Oh, and by the way, you agreed to be his the second you agreed to go on that date."

I couldn't tell if Zayn was trying to be funny or if he was giving me an honest, fair warning as to what I was getting myself into. I fear that what he said is true...I haven't really gotten the opportunity to get to know any of them really well. Harry made sure to intimidate me upon our first meeting. I can't picture Niall doing the same thing or even possibly being worse. What could possibly be worse than that?
