Mea! I’m so glad to hear from you! Just made my morning a hell of a lot better! I’m kinda busy this morning but I promise I’ll be over today! I’ll find someone to bring you some Tylenol and an ice pack. I hope you’ll feel better soon!
-Niall

I was bummed that he couldn’t bring the things himself but glad to know that someone else would still be dropping them off. I couldn’t imagine who he would send…

-Niall’s POV-

I hated the fact that I couldn’t go see her right now. The first opportunity she gives me and I couldn’t even go. I knew that the other lads had the day off because they had finished recording back in LA and I trusted them to do anything I asked, especially because it was for her. I needed to head out soon so I grabbed my guitar and left out of my hotel room to go to Louis’ down the hall.

“Louis! LOU! C’mon mate, open the door. I need to ask you something!” I pounded on his door hoping that this would be the one morning that he’d be in a good mood. He opened the door with an expression that looked homicidal and a completely dark room so I knew I had just woken him up. “What the hell are you knocking on my door for at this time in the morning? Don’t you have to sing somewhere or fuck someone or something?” “You’re such a great sport Lou, I really admire your enthusiasm.” “You’re lucky I even came to the door. I just couldn’t bear the thought of turning away a leprechaun.” “Damn, I forgot my rainbow and pot of gold.” “Bitch please, I am the pot of gold.” It’s unbelievable that someone like him could still have their wits about them just after waking up.

“I need you to do something for Mea.” He slammed his door in my face and I was very confused.” I started knocking loudly on the door again praying that he hadn’t gone back to sleep. He opened the door back up a few moments later fully dressed in jeans, a jumper, a beanie, and his favorite vans. “That was quick.” “What does she need? Where is she? Is she ok? Should I get help? Do I need to bring condoms? God, I hope she needs that kind of help.” “NO! She just needs an ice pack and Tylenol.” He looked at me with a confused look before whispering, “So she’s on her period?” “Again, no. She just asked for an ice pack and Tylenol.” “I come from a home with five women, trust me, she’s on her period.” I looked down at my watch and noticed that I was now running late. “Whatever Lou. Thank you so much for doing this! I owe you one!” I rushed down the hall to the elevator. Hopefully Lou wouldn’t make a fool of us. “God, please let today go well.”

-Louis’ POV-

Niall texted me her number and I was extremely excited to spend some time with her. I didn’t know what to expect though. I hoped that she wasn’t a crazy bitch when she was PMSing or one of those overly dramatic ones that would start crying if a napkin fell on the floor. I thought about buying her some pills to dull the symptoms but that might seem rude. I walked across the hall to Liam’s room and knocked on his door. “Good morning Lou! I just ordered some cookies and milk and I got a picture with the cookie man! Would you like some?” “I’m going to pretend you didn’t just say that and cut to the chase. Mea needs help and I told Niall I’d handle it. Do you want to come?” “Only if you eat a cookie from the cookie man.” “Put your damn shoes on and let’s go.” “I have never known a man to turn down fresh cookies. You’re one of a kind Lou.” “I try.” He threw on some Nikes, a jacket, and a snapback and followed me to Zayn’s room.

He was worse in the morning than me so I was anticipating items being thrown at my face or a lot of swearing. “ZAYN WAKE THE FUCK UP WE’RE GOING OUT!” “I have cookies!” Zayn opened the door slightly and squinted with his sudden exposure to the light from the hallway. “Bring the cookies with you and I might let you live. Why the hell are either of you going anywhere this early? This is our day off!” “Mea needs us and we need to pick up some stuff for her and take it to her house. Maybe keep her company for a while.” “Oh God, she’s on her period huh? I don’t know Lou.” “You didn’t tell me she was on her period! That’s gross…” “You, you’re coming anyways. You, get your ass together and meet us down in the lobby in five minutes.”

I walked away and down the hall towards the elevators where we ran into a nearly naked Harry. He looked like he hadn’t slept in days and his eyes were puffy as if he had just cried. “Where are you guys headed?” “Um…out to Mea’s place. What happened to you?” “Oh, nothing. I’m alright. It was just a little windy on the roof.” “Let me get this straight, you were on the roof in just your boxers? I don’t even want to know.” “Would you like a cookie?” “No thanks. Can I come with you?” He looked at me with pleading eyes and I wanted to invite him along, but I knew that wouldn’t be good for Mea; especially if she was in a bad mood. “I’m sorry man but I think you know why that might not be the best idea.” “Mhm, she’s on her period you know.” I stuffed a cookie in Liam’s mouth before covering it with my hand to prevent him from speaking. “We’ll see you later mate. Get some rest. You look like someone stole your puppy.” “Ok. Can you just tell her that I’m sorry? I didn’t mean to hurt her. Just tell her that for me and make it seem genuine. I’ll be here all day with Nando I guess if you need anything. See ya.”

Liam and I continued down to the lobby and while he was babbling about the quality of the cookies, I tried to think of all the ways to comfort Mea and if I should send Harry’s apology. Zayn met us downstairs about half an hour later which was completely expected and we all got into our rented truck before heading out to the drugstore.

Seeing Liam and Zayn in the women’s aisle of a store was like watching a baby eat lemons; quite entertaining but somehow you feel a slight amount of guilt. “I don’t like this Louis.” “Yeah, I’m with you Liam. We’ll be in the car Lou.” They both turned and walked towards the door with disgusted looks on their faces and I couldn’t help but laugh at them. Admittedly, the aisle was a bit overwhelming. I didn’t even want to know the purpose of most of the items stacked in front of me. I grabbed a box of Midol, a giant bottle of pain killers, and a box of icy hot patches. Hopefully it would be enough to keep her satisfied for the day.

I checked out and hopped back into the front seat of our truck. Zayn and Liam seemed to be in the middle of an important conversation that I didn’t give a damn about. “Hey! One of you take my phone and text Mea asking for her address.” “I’ll do it!” they both said at the same time. I threw my phone on the backseat, not really caring who sent it. “Hurry, I need to save my damsel in distress.” “YOUR damsel in distress? I think you mean MY damsel in distress.” Zayn said as he fought for the phone. “Fuck you both. She’s no one’s damsel if we don’t get her address.”

Hey Mea, it’s Zayn :) Liam, Louis and I are on our way now but we need your address. Please send it ASAP. See you soon Xx

-Mea’s POV-

My phone buzzed and I winced as I tried to pick it up. My hands had continued to swell and the soreness spread. The text was from a number I didn’t recognize but I opened it anyways. Zayn, not what I was expecting, but still cool. Holy shit…three international pop stars were on their way to my apartment and I couldn’t even remember the last time I’d cleaned. I quickly texted him back.

Hey Zayn! Is this your number? My address is 2207 Pembridge Ln, Plainfield, IL :) Thank you so much for bringing the stuff. The pain is getting worse by the second. How long until you get here..?

I anxiously waited for him to reply so I could estimate just how long I had to get ready and clean.

This is Louis’ number actually. Do you want mine?? ;) Lou says we’ll be there in half an hour at the most.

Well FUCK ME. There is no way on earth that this entire apartment could be cleaned in 30 minutes. I rushed to the front area and cleared everything off of the couches and the tables, threw all the dirty dishes into the dishwasher, and frantically sprayed EVERYTHING with Lysol and Febreze. The spray was overwhelming and the air smelled like an old person’s home. I cracked open a window and lit a vanilla sunshine scented candle.

Babycakes sat on the couch carefully watching me as I ran around like a headless chicken. I checked the clock and 15 minutes had already passed. “Shit, shit, SHIT!” I sprinted into the bathroom and took the quickest shower of my life. My hair was a mess but I didn’t have time to fix it. I threw on some shorts, an oversized shirt and my favorite fuzzy socks. I stopped to look in the mirror and realized that I had no makeup on. I quickly put on foundation, very little eyeliner and some mascara before looking in the mirror again. “Okay, better.” I looked down and noticed that the shirt I had thrown on was see through and my bra could clearly be seen through the thin fabric. “Ugh! WHY?” I ripped it off and started throwing everything around in my room while I searched for a better shirt. I bent down to look through my drawers and suddenly I heard a man’s voice behind me.
